Anyone have any recommendations of website hosting/building? I just want something simple for photography. Thanks!

or you could setup a wordpress blog with a photography template on it.

I highly recommend Wordpress. It's so much more than just a blog foundation, you can do pretty much anything you want with it, especially if you pair it with a well-designed theme.

If you're looking for a host, I highly recommend LiquidWeb (www.liquidweb.com). I've used them in one form or another for over ten years and I can't say enough about the amazing customer service they offer. You won't find better.

I took just about the simplest way possible for a website. I do a little side work with photo shoots and graphic work for friends and others, and since I'm doing a few senior photo shoots, I thought I'd make a place where everyone can see each other's pics. I got a WP.com blog and paid $18 for a year for a domain name. No worries about where to host it.

And then I chose the most simple theme and took all the widgets, etc. off of it. IF this were to turn into something bigger, then it's easy to take it further with WP.

Oh, that looks great, Mary. I bought the domain, too. Your photos are great, too. Senior photos and engagement photos were my favorite when I was doing them at a studio.

This is exactly what I use also. I started out with my domains and hosting through Bluehost and tried several different free or low-cost WordPress.org themes (SLR Lounge, Tofurious, StudioPress etc.) before I invested in ProPhoto a few months ago.
