Help decorating bathrooms??

I have ugly bathrooms. Really ugly. I had great plans for them until I actually saw them. I wanted a nice black and white one, and a nice yellow and white one. I even had a shower curain in mind. But in this place, thats just not gonna work.

Here's my upstairs br - the one I was hoping to do in bright sunny yellow - (that tile is not exactly bright sunny yellow)

And here's the downstairs one I was hoping to do in nice b&w

UGLY tile everywhere lol. I don't like the colors and I'm clueless as to what will match. I just want something nice at this point that won't clash with the tiles

Ohh....I was just going to suggest getting some tile paint. The makeover shows on TV use it all the time and it looks great - way cheaper than buying and replacing all the tiles.

Oh yea, lol I would be so willing if I could!! We did that the last place we lived and it had turned out nicely! I am just so bad at matching up colors that would look nice in there. I'm not keepinf that shower curtain upstairs, it's just what we had so it works for now. So wishing they'd take out that tile.
