is it just me or are these kinda wierd?

I just saw a babble post on facebook about taking your breast milk and having it made into things. Like storing it (somehow it looks hard ) in a pendent, having little charms for necklaces and bracelets made out of it or even sending frozen breast milk to make soap. Now dont get me wrong I am all for breast feeding. Think it is the best thing for baby and to do it as long as you see fit. But these things are kinda weird to me and makes me wonder how the heck they thought to do it LOL. In case you wanna see for yourself here ya go:

Hmm... strange to me, but I know some who would love something like this. No stranger than people wearing ashes of loved ones in pendants.
 
Glad Im not the only one. I think the silver pendent is pretty and Id wear it with maybe a little trinket of some sort that represents my kits. A birthstone or something like that maybe.
 
Lord I wish I'd had enough extra milk to make multiple bars of soap with. (Who wants to clean with those?) I could barely feed my kids let alone make pendants!

That is definitely weird. I too am all for breastfeeding but that's just too much for me.

I can understand the soap thing too but I'm not sure I'd like to use it lol
 
My baby sister is 14 years younger than me. Once, when she was still nursing, I got pink eye. My mom told me that breast milk would fix it. I freaked out because I thought she wanted me to drink it. lol. Nope, I just had to dribble a little in my eye.
 
I guess it is weird ... but come to think of it, maybe we only find it weird cause its us... I mean we use goats milk soap all the time, I mean people in general. So, maybe not that far fetched. As for jewelry or preserving it, thats just bizarre, but what ever floats your boat!
 
I think its maybe weird and I have no desire to have any of that stuff, but I mean, to each their own, right? The soap doesn't seem too far fetched though. And I was going to say something along the lines of Tanyia - we drink cows milk and goats milk and use bar soap with that in it, which seems pretty odd too if you think about it!
 
I don't think it's all that weird I really struggled with breastfeeding and it took me 5 kids to "get it right" and by golly I'm proud that I fed him for 2 whole years and now that it's over and I'll never have any more babies it makes me sad!!!

I think the soap is an awesome idea and really no one else would now what it was unless you told them so it's not like people in everyday life would be grossed out by it!!!

I kinda wish I still had some in my freezer cause I'd totally do it!!! :D :D
