I just had an IUD placed about a year ago but when its time for it to come out then I might consider this. Im definitely ok with permanent birth control.

Wow. Never heard of it. Sounds interesting though! I personally would consider that over an IUD since the conception between the egg/sperm is completely prevented, rather than just the implantation of the fertilized egg.

Thankfully though...my DH had the big V. (The best thing he ever did). It's not that big of a deal. An outpatient prcedure and really recovery is short. I then had a novasure (endiometrial ablation). I haven't had a period since then (2 years ago).

I considered it before i had my tubal, but i thought in the back of my mind that i could always have my tubal reversed. However, i never expected my tubal to fail. So, now I am grateful for Harper, but DH had the big "V" this time.
