it's my downfall

oh! I can seem like a bit of a ditz and an airhead so I can come across as pretty dumb sometimes.. but I like to think I'm smarter than I seem :)

Another one for me is that I am impatient as heck and don't hide it well. Every single thing I feel is written all over my face so I can't get away with any of those social lies that would save me a lot of trouble.

uhm. sherri nailed it for me.
i tend to overthink and not tell anything or tell it all and afterwards feel bad because i said it all.
and because i tend to overthink i often get off-topic because in my mind i am far over the pond already.

yah, again i'm with lorie. my facial expressions give me away every time. there are SO many times my husband has hit me on the arm to say, 'dude. face.'

My husband has to often remind me to stop and back track when I'm talking because I think right past myself. LOL

I'm also waaay too passionate about my opinions.

Umm... me too. In many cases it is a good thing, but sometimes it just leaves me foaming at the mouth angry because others don't see things the way I do. I stop myself before lashing out at them, but it doesn't keep me from thinking nasty thoughts in my head! :cursing:

I do this...this christmas we were at my aunts and all the guys had a bet they could pick up a five gallon jug filled to the top with pennies over their head. And Im like you're gonna put it through the wall. Athough I was laughing at their attempts. Until my nephew DID almost put it through the wall. Then my aunt was all like ok thats enough with that. Only one guy was able to do it out of five and both my sisters tried as well and could not even pick it up off the ground. Im guesing it weighed a couple hundred pounds at least (200 or more)

I always tend to be the voice of reason and I think it's annoying when others are trying to just have fun. But I swear the older I get, the worse it gets. (and I think it's usually because I'm the sober designated driver when we go out)

and for my own issues...I am stubborn, opinionated and too sensitive. Which I do not think combine well. But being stubborn and opinionated can also come in handy at times when you need to be persistent to get something done.

OMGee on the stubborn, but I agree; it gets things done. For those of you that are stubborn and opinionated, are you the "strong" one in your family? The one every one else counts on during a crisis? And during those times no one seems to mind those "flaws" that drive them crazy the rest of the time, do they?

Honestly after reading all these posts I know two things. I have a crap ton of flaws and I need a husband like Laura's. :) Seriously though most of our flaws can also be strengths in the right situation.

Yep exactly...but I think me being stubborn my husband actually loves because when I get something in my head I make it happen. Whereas he is more apt to kinda just go with the flow and accept stuff he is told.

i don't consider myself stubborn but my husband always says: okay. i don't like this idea but we are going to do it anyway because it was your idea, so let's do it.

and i go like '*%§$"/&$&$§ because most of the time i am trying to please him, and make it better for him. okay. not over the moon and back but i am really trying! AND HE CAN BE STUBBORN! OMG CAN HE BE STUBBORN!

so i really think this is more a communication thing than really being stubborn.
and yes, i think our flaws are our strengths. it's a matter of the situation, i think.
