Hi girls!!

I thought I'd start a new thread today, so we could just get used to having a new Monday thread each week.

My official weigh-in day isn't until Friday, but I stepped on this morning just for kicks and was down 2 lbs from where I started on Wednesday. I won't record that as official til Friday, but it's a pretty decent start!

I'm still not fully on board... trying, but struggling. I've had some splurges, but overall I'm trying to make good choices.

My "biggie" this week is going to be DRINK MORE WATER. I don't drink anything at all usually, so I have to remind myself to drink water. I did pretty well with it up until November, and then I just fell off the wagon. For me, that's crucial to weight-loss, so that's what I'm focusing on this week.

Hope you all have a great week!

My official weigh-in days, will be Sundays, starting last night, I'm down 10 lbs, in December, so I will update again on Sunday with an actual number for the week.

I found a Pinterest workout last night and made a 'workout' playlist on Spotify, my goal this week, is Sun-Tues-Thurs-Sat at least 1 cycle of the work out and 30 minutes total of movement (1 cycle is about 15 minutes)

That's so awesome, Amanda! You are one of the few who actually LOST while the rest of us were gaining over the holidays!

Your Pinterest workout sounds good! I keep saying I need to get back to the gym. Maybe I need to find something I can do at home for those days when going to the gym just doesn't happen.

I took a 45 minute walk with the kids which earned me 6 points! I was happy about that! I have Jillian's 30 day shred that I could do... but she scares me!!! I need to get some sort of regular exercise scheduled into my routine, too.

The weekend of Thanksgiving I had the worst gallbladder attack, ever. I would have rather had all 3 of my 9lb babies again. I'm waiting for insurance to approve the operation, and when I met with the surgeon, he gave me the orders to lose at least 10, over the next 6ish weeks it should take for the insurance to approve.

The work out is this one, from my board, Get Fit, Stay Healthy, the playlist I found by searching for "Country Workout" in Spotify (it's a bunch of country that's been turned cardio/dance).

Today is day 2 of the workout, going for every other day in January. I can only get through 1 cycle before I feel like I'm going to die right now, but next week I'll push for 2, the following week 3 and finish out the month strong with that. I'll choose something different for February. We live about 20 miles from 'town' where there would actually be a gym, so that definitely isn't an option right now.
I have that 30 Day shred too, but I think I'll make it through January and February before I torture, err, get up the strength to do a little JM. lol

I have decided I'm not going to have official weigh-in days. I'll just post a loss when it's good enough, like 1-1.5lbs. I do weigh myself every day but it fluctuates.

I'm not doing weigh-ins, more like hours of exercise. My big goal this week is to have some activity (that is NOT sitting on my bum or bed) for at least 30 minutes a day. But I also started a food diary and already I know where I tend to stray, lol.

I have the same problem as you, Libby. Unless I'm intentional about it, I'm lucky to drink at least four glasses of water at all! But I'm so happy to report though that I've been drinking 2 liters of water a day!! I have a 1 liter bottle by my desk and I make sure to finish it by noon, then another liter by 9PM. I've done it two days straight now, so hopefully I can keep it up. :) The trick is being constantly aware of it, lol.

I lost 4.5 pounds last week, and have been doing really well staying within my calories, drinking water, and exercising daily.

I was weighing everyday but I had to have DH hide the scale and go back to once a week..I become so fixed on a number and just lose it when it fluctuates up a bit...

I was down 1.4lbs last weigh in...sooo close to where I want to be I can taste it

Ha! I weighed myself yesterday and was soooo happy to see I weighed 4 lbs less! Then in the evening I weighed myself again and it was up 2 lbs. I guess this is why we're only supposed to weigh in weekly! The mood I was in after I saw it go up ruined my happy bubble completely!

yep! You also weigh less in the am :) I always weigh first thing in the AM after i empty my bladder!

my weigh in was today and i lost 4.6lbs...i'm trying not to get overwhelmed by how much weight i have to lose so my next weight loss goal is 5.4lbs to get to 10lbs. baby steps...

congrats on your weight loss jenn...

Congrats on the 4.6 loss! That's great!!!!

I weigh in on Tuesdays and my weigh in this week was so exciting! I gained like 6 pounds over the holidays and I was so frustrated with myself over starting all over, but my first week I lost 4 pounds! Which makes it all feel a little bit less like a total uphill battle. Aunt Flo was visiting during weigh in one too, so I'm sure that factors in.

This week I'm focusing on continuing to log all my calories - I know that that is pretty much THE way for me to lose weight so I'm hoping if I'm consistent next week's weigh in will be a positive one too.

Oh - also, I was feeling so good about my weigh in Tueday that I told my husband "I need to figure out how to hold on to this feeling and remember how great it is to succeed so that next time I'm having a hard day and wanting to eat my feelings that I can remember how much better this feeling is than any amount of junk food". So he was like "maybe you should write yourself a letter" - which was a great idea I think, so I made a page in my smash journal to remind myself :)

Congrats to all the ladies that dropped too! I'm def. in the camp of only weighing myself one time a week and ONLY in the morning, seriously anything else makes me a crazy person mood-wise.

That's a great idea. We are so hard on ourselves as moms and women that we really need to remind ourselves daily of something good.

It's sooo easy to gain the weight and 100xs harder to lose it. I think we should celebrate each pound!

yep! You also weigh less in the am :) I always weigh first thing in the AM after i empty my bladder!

I have found that I weigh my least around 10:30am. If I weigh myself when I get up to get the girls to school at 7am I usually weigh around a pound more than I do a few hours later.

Ok, so today was my weigh-in! 5.2 lbs down for the first week. :D I totally don't expect to have that kind of loss weekly, but I'm excited to be off to a good start!

since i weight in on wednesday's my weigh in is at noon and i try not to eat or drink too much before my weigh in...it's hard though...i really liked my saturday weigh ins because i could weigh in first thing in the am but i hate getting up too early on saturday mornings...

question..when y'all use the recipe builder or adding points in a recipe do you include the 0 point foods? I"ve seen it both ways and sometimes I can have a 1-3pt difference in things by including them or not

I mean to me zero point broccoli is zero points..even if I put it in with the pasta and chicken lol am I wrong in thinking that? I know this is a confusing topic on the WW forums just curious what you do personally

Awesome job, everyone!!!

We went out for sushi last night and I was so happy to be able to order the same roll I always have without feeling any guilt! Thank God sushi is a healthy choice because I seriously would have a hard time giving it up!!!

I had some great self control yesterday:
-Didn't have chips with my flatbread sub at Subway for lunch.
-Stayed home and let DH take Grace to get ice cream.
-Politely declined the cupcake my friend offered when I picked up Ben from a birthday party. That was hard. Thankfully WW frozen treats were BOGO at the grocery store this week, so I had a 4 point Giant Chocolate Cookies & Cream bar which more than satisfied!
-Had a salad with my sushi instead of wonton soup.

I am hoping once I reach my goal I won't have to decline so many yummies. :p

It was a pretty 'slurge' week here.

We went out to lunch (2x) and dinner (2x),more than normal, while I made healthy choices, I still had extras. And I made cupcakes, although I sent most of them to work with DH, I did have one 2 days in a row.

I haven't started tracking my food yet, but will add that to the mix in the next week or so, I know that it'll be a lot more helpful to watching the numbers go down.

Hoping to jump back in ladies!! I have SUCKED big time at the weight loss thing. I need to get back in my WW and start losing again!! Awesome job ladies with your losses. :)
