Downloads: Do you...?

Hey chickies,

For my own reference, if you place an order here at SSD, do you download from the keys which are sent to you via email or do you wait to be redirected back to the site after you've paid at Paypal or with your credit card and download directly from the site when you arrive back.

I'm just curious :)

Mostly from when I'm redirected, unless my order was queued or I can't get to it right away for some reason.
 
Almost always once I am redirected, unless for some reason the link isn't available. Last week it wasn't even though it wasn't queued so I used the email ones.
 
Directly from the site - I always end up deleting the emails with the download links without ever opening them :)
 
It depends on how much time I have. Most of the time from the redirected site, but also often from the downkoad keys in my mail.
 
both if i buy from work i wait until i get home and save the email.
if i buy at home i usually just download right away.

that being said - i'd love to only get one email not multiples. and i'd love to be able to download everything from one page instead of opening up a bunch of windows. if you are curious about this, go buy a few freebies from dhd. you'll see what i mean.
 
I do either re-direct or if I am not feeling like downloading at that moment or cant I go to orders history and get the links that way.
 
I always downloaded from the redirect also, except the last few times I've ordered (the last 30 days or so) my order has always been queued :huh: so I've downloaded from the email links instead.

Have you changed anything in your process about the way you order from us? Upgraded software or switched web browsers or ...? I'm really trying to find out why the same user's orders are queued week after week. I definitely see the same names come up over and over again when I push them through and since this is a recent development for you, maybe something you can tell me might help me figure out what is causing it?

Let me know if you have any ideas!

Both. Sometimes I download right away and that's when I use the redirect. Other times I wait to download until the next day, especially when there's a big sale like DSD or Black Friday, because I know that everyone else is trying to download too. And yes, sometimes I buy when I'm out and about during the day and so the emails are there when I get home.
 
I've done both!! Usually depends on whether I have time to download right after I purchase or not. Sometimes I wait a few days.
 
I download directly from the site when you arrive back. :thumbup:

But I do keep my email links for reference so don't stop those!!! :p
 
I DL directly from the site 95% of the time. I use the emails if my order was queued, if I'm shopping during a big sale and want to wait to DL, or if I discover an error when I go to unzip.

Me, too. It has saved me from having to bug you to reset links a few times.
