Hey Hey chickabitties!

We dont reveal much around here about what we have in store when we're hunkered down and planning new things, but this is one area that I'd love to have your input in for the upcoming year!

We're excited to keep our Featured Designer spotlight and spend $10 promo going throughout 2013 because I think you guys love it and frankly, we do too!

Here's my question though...

As customers, what kind of things do you want to know about our amazing designers? What do you want to see from them? What are you curious about? If you could sit down with one of them, what would you ask her?

Get creative and let me know what you'd like to see or learn about this amazing collection of artists we have designing for us. I'm excited to hear your ideas!

Robin

I always enjoy learning things about others that relate to my life too. In that way it's like we are sisters! Like:

Favorite things to do with your kids and/or significant other?
Favorite recipe?
Do you really cook dinner everynight? :D How do you balance work and family...
What/who inspires you in life to be a better person?
Where is your peaceful place?
What do you like to do when you relax?
How do you want people to remember you?

you know I always wonder....what made you go, dang, I think I can do this (design) and how to you balance the amount of time to create, and the behind the scene things with your everyday life!???

What is their all time favorite kit?
Do they scrap as well as design?
What do they find the most challenging part of designing? The kit, colors, elements, papers, alpha etc?
Do they work at any other jobs besides designing?
If they could do absolutely anything in the world outside of designing (crazy or down-to-earth possible) what would they love to do?

Yes, because I think some of the designers here must have superhero designing powers!

How has your style changed over the years?
What is the most satisfying part about being a designer? What do you enjoy the most?
What's the hardest part? What drives you crazy?
Which kit is your most unusual or unique kit?
Show us the first kit you ever designed. (LOL!)
Which kit reflects your personality the most?

Show us some of their personal pages and what kinds of pages inspire them :)

If there was onew "trick" that you could teach us in PS, what would it be? (i.e. CMD+Z= delete....etc etc.....)......Traci taught me all about the "tile all in windows" in PS and it has made my life SO MUCH BETTER!

I think there are so many shortcuts out there or things that would make me scrap faster or just better my scrapping skills and I owuld love to know some of them :)

I love knowing all the weird quirky stuff about designers. We often hear about their design process and the professional side, but I love all the more everyday life details.

I think that all of the designers should answer their questions with a video of. I'll be honest, I rarely read the featured designer interviews, but I'd love to watch them or even just listen to them. I think that would be a great way to update the feature for 2013. :)

I would love to know more about their families and recipes and work/life balance, too. Stuff you don't know by looking at their designs. I love reading tutorials about techniques and trends, too. I'm so happy you're keeping this feature here. I can't wait to learn more in 2013!

I like this one! With some pictures of early styles too!

I second this, love it. Artsy kind of questions interest me most. I know I'm weird. :-)

Also a related one - What/Who are your influences?

Also - Who is YOUR favourite designer(s)?

and... What kind of art style do you love in "RL" (meaning classic painting - what period, what artists)? - and I'm probably the only one who is interested in this, but still, a try is a try. :-)

Glad to hear the Featured Designer is going to continue. Love reading the features!
