I am sooo PROUD of you! I'm 63 and have NEVER changed a tire. I had to learn when I was in the Driver's Education class when I was 16 years old. I have always been nervous when driving alone that I might get a flat tire and "What would I do?!"
It was good to get to review when I was in my own drive way and not in an emergency. I recommend having someone review it with you too. I am 56 and have only watched my husband do it and even that had been many years ago. Tuesday I found my tire completely flat and decided to have my daughters boyfriend who was over - talk me through it. I told him I needed to do it so I would know how. It is work LOL.

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE! 😍 It is a gorgeous day out today (I'm in the Pacific NW, US) and I am having one of my Grands over for the weekend... she is SO bored at home, with a cast on her fractured wrist. Not sure how much less bored she will be here, but we love spending time together.
What are your weekend plans? Hope they are enjoyable, no matter what!

Have a great weekend with her! I wish my grandkids lived close enough to 'drop by'

Grandkids are such a blessing! We're blessed that ours are about 30 minutes from us and during the summer, especially, we are with them quite a bit. However; our oldest will be a teenager next month, which makes this grandma's heart a little sad. Time marches on too quickly!

That is so hard. I am so lucky that all my grands are close by. I get sad when they leave town to visit their other grandparents. I know... sad :( My 8 mo grandson just left yesterday to see his other grandma and will be gone 9 days. I am not good at sharing :)
I hope the 9 days pass quickly for you❤️

Today is relax and packing day. We jump in a car with the 15-yr old 6'4 boy and a cross-country team mate tomorrow at 5 am to drive from FL to NC (7+ hours) to drop them off at NIKE Cross Country Camp for a week. Then my hubby and I drive to a condo in Tennessee to stay for a week without kids. I let my hubby plan this trip so it should be interesting. I am looking forward to 7 hours to do nothing but scrapbook. lol

You're in my neck of the woods ❤️ enjoy your much needed break and scrap therapy

This is a stay home weekend - which feels kind of weird after being on the go for so many this summer. The hubs is fixing the fence that has struggled with the wind storms the previous months and also got kicked down by an elk that got trapped back there - so weird because we live in a city- in a cul-de-sac. He finally made it out of our yard and traveled to other neighborhoods before fish & game were able to capture him. I don't know the rest of the story. And of course this elk incident happened when the hubs and I were vacationing and my 24 year old daughter was house sitting for us. She called in such a frenzy not knowing what to do. Neighbors provided us with video and photos or even I may not have believed it.

Our rains (monsoons) have finally arrived! Big storm last night, so I mowed our back yard(only grass) early! I feel so proud of myself. The birds are delighted too!
Jalapeño stuffed poppers in oven and waiting for next round of storms to push in over the mountain range!
Is everyone else caught up in double feature challenges?

Twirling my thumbs for next one!!!
