Weekend Warm-Up | LCW with a Twist - Win a $25 Gift Certificate!

So excited about the upcoming double featured. I'm determined to do most of the challenges. I haven't really been good at keeping up with challenges, because they tend to get overwhelming for me with the deadlines.
 
Finally finished my last Weekend Warm Up challenge! The

How is everyone doing weather wise? We are still in the middle of this awful heat wave. It's 98 degrees...the humidity is so thick it's crazy. I have some umbrellas and chairs covering some of my newly planted plants in the garden to give them a little shade so they don't burn. Really hoping for some rain! Even the corn here is staring to look sad.
 
Today was insanely hot and humid here and we're having crazy storms. I'm in the capital and the Canada Day fireworks are canceled and the Snow Birds had to cancel their show. Hopefully by 8pm it's stopped and cooled a bit so the show on Parliament Hill can happen!

We just had a big storm come through here too (in Alberta). We haven’t had any heat yet this year though, I’m impatiently waiting for summer to show up!

I'll try to send some of ours West, today was 33 feeling like 47 with the humidex (for our Fahrenheit friends here, that's 91 feeling like 117)... trust me, you don't want that! Let's try to split the difference 😆
