A spinoff question from this thread.

@angiekey suggested here:
"If you have an album with a section that's dedicated to you personally - your hobbies, the different kinds of work you've done, etc"

Do you have an All About Me album?

If so, tell me about it :)
I think I need to add this to my To Scrap List.

I insert different me pages in books....but I am currently doing recipes (Keto friendly) book to print. I am pretty excited about it, actually.

I do. It's my only album that's loose pages, because I add to it as the mood strikes me.

There's no real rhyme or reason to what I include in there, I think at one time I had a list that had prompts to help me get started. And then I'll wait until I have a batch of pages and when persnickety runs a sale, I'll print them. It's usually every 3 or 4 years honestly.

I have things in there about my best friends growing up, my high school job working at a video rental store, my Air Force days, my hometown, crochet, movies, etc.

Since I'm a chronological scrapper too, often times I'll get caught up on our regular family stuff, so, this is another way I find to scrap.

Here are some of the pages I've shared here over the years, and of course they become outdated, but that's part of the fun. LOL!

I started scrapping well before I had kids, plus my art journaling tends to be very "me" focused. I probably have enough pages to fill an album by now. I also have a ton of Cindy's AAM's templates and big plans to make a book about me for my kids as they get older.

But again, I haven't printed anything so... it's all theoretical 🙈

Back in 2009 I did a project called "Count Your Blessings". Making a page for what I considered blessings in my life. Ended up with 23 (and I could definitely add more now!) and printed 8x8 pages for an 8x8 album.

I don't necessarily scrap chronologically but by theme. I will put layouts chronologically in those albums though. When I first started digital, I did pages about me so ended up an album that was just pages about me. I call it my "Book of Me" although it does have pages about my parents as well. At one time I did rearrange all the pages into chronological order but lately have just been adding them at the end. I could rearrange in the future though.

In 2023, our own Fiddle-Dee-Dee did a challenge at TLP called "Finding Me in 2023". She gave a prompt each month to scrap about. Examples included health, hobbies, clothing, home, indulgence. Some prompts have lots of pages, others may only have 1 or 2. I ended up with 7 layouts for health (2023 was a bad year for me) and had 5 layouts for hobbies. Then there was clothing. Another participant showed that she was breaking it down by decades of her life which I thought was a great idea. I ended up with 7 layouts, one for each decade I've lived. What fun it was looking for pictures for each of those decades and seeing how I've changed (the hair!) over the years. On a sad note, Cheryl was not able to give the last 2 prompts due to personal things in her life at the time and I'm not sure I ever heard what they were so I didn't get to finish it out.

Oh, @nesser1981 that is awesome! Thanks for sharing. Saving that board- Sometimes I need to scrap other things than just vacation photos of the kids. An all about me album is a genius idea and you give me so many ideas with the pages you shared!

In my many years of digital scrapbooking, I have made pages that are dedicated to myself. I have not printed a book with them yet. I stepped away from scrapping for a while for life and medical reasons. Now I am back with more All About Me ideas I want to scrap as not only therapy for myself but to also celebrate all the medical journeys I have overcome. I don't recall what forum it was on but there was a BOM (Book of Me) challenge and I used prompts from that as well as did pages for CT at times when I didn't have photos to really scrap for the theme, I did an off-theme page from my childhood or similar. Here are some BOM pages I have done- My daily routine (in photos and notes), scrapped old baby photos that were given to me and the stories my family told me about that photo- my aunt that helped raised me told me lots of stories and gave me all the photos she took before she passed away, my daily work routine at the time, my favorite foods at the time (from 2017 so it's fun to look back to see if they changed), My 1st CD and the story that goes with it, Difficult conversations with my mom and how they impacted me (she struggles with mental health) and a song verse, A letter to myself from 2018 (and just went back and read this tonight and about cried- my kids were still so little and are now 15 and 20), my favorite season and why, and the rest are photos of me and my husband from high school and our life before kids and scrapping our childhood photos and memories for future generations.

Thanks for this question as I wondered into my BOM pages when are grouped into various years and now need to put them all into 1 folder and go back and get a good, happy cry on all the memories I have saved. And check my back up server since none of my BOM pages are printed.

That sounds like a great way to celebrate every thing you’ve overcome!!

SSD did All About Me challenges years ago. I don’t know if those challenges are still in the archives, it’s probably been 15 years ago at least. That’s where a lot of my early AAM page ideas came from.

Yes, 2023 started my Mama's physical decline and then she passed away in 2024. I'm sorry I didn't assist you in finishing those last few layouts, though. I do have lots of AAM layouts here at the SSD Gallery and I just shared my AAM playlist on YouTube in the post above this one. I think you should be able to pick and choose and finish out that album.

I'll have to check that out next month. Leave for vacation tomorrow morning and when I get back I have a genealogy field trip, doctor appointments and a new dishwasher install to look forward to (along with the laundry from the vacation!)

Outside of my breaks in scrapbooking I’ve always done monthly all about me pages going back… shoot I want to say 2013ish? I’ll go through my gallery later when I’m not on my phone to pull some.

I used to - now I pulled them and put them into the family scrapbooks because they are a part of our story, not just my story. The ones really personal are still in a folder not to be printed.

I'm like Vanessa; I have a plethora of pages all about me. I find scrapping to be super therapeutic, and I want to remember all the things I love. I have multiple albums dedicated to me; Love, My Stories, Things I Love, My Childhood, Reflections, Books, My Favorites. Almost the entire first page of my gallery is pages about me.

Obviously, Erica is very attuned to who I am as a person and provides me with the perfect kits for self reflection, lol.
Here are some older layouts:
