I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Thought I would pop in to ask everyone to share the best gift they got this year.

For me, it was spending time with my grandson and the beautiful cameo necklace he got me with his silhouette.

I did a little photo shoot with him by one of my Christmas trees on Christmas Eve Day which was a lot of fun too. He is such a ham. LOL

Time with your grandson is certainly the best gift! And I love the Mickey tree scene in your photo :D

I think it's a tie between printing my 2024 December album and a 2026 planner. Memory keeping for the win!

I also think my son getting new card games that we get to play on New Year's Eve is a bonus gift and I am so excited for that too.
 
My best gift? Seeing my adult grandsons flip out over the contents of their stockings, and wearing the "6-7" socks and Buc-ee's Jingle tees I bought them to our extended family dinner that evening.
 
Oh he's adorable Lorie! And ... growing so quickly!! Isn't grandma-ing the BEST!?!?!

Our grandkids gave us a beautiful digital frame filled with 300+ photos - they can add photos remotely, which I love!

We celebrated Christmas at our house - and our youngest granddaughter (8) brought an Amazon box into the house - it wasn't wrapped or anything - the flaps were wide open. She quickly put it under the tree. When it was time to open presents, she jumped up and grabbed the box and took it to "Papa". She told him this was HER present to HIM. She told him she picked out her favorite rocks and washed them just for him.

We had a wonderful Christmas! It was great to see our kids and our grandkids. First we had yummy finger foods that we all had brought. We then opened gifts starting youngest to oldest. Our oldest daughter gave me this little jewelry dish tray. It is ceramic and the stem of each flower is the name of one of our grandchildren. It's really beautiful!

Tomorrow is our day to celebrate Christmas with our kids. I can't wait to have our house full of six wild grandkids and their exhausted parents - LOL!
 
awww what a cutie Lorie!!

I usually get myself what I want on Black Friday because if I waited for my husband to get me something I want... I'd wait forever. So he hides money in the tree for me. lol

What a precious gift! That shows her sweet heart! Our youngest granddaughter is three and she is always taking rocks from our landscaping rocks. I sure wish she would gift us some of those back as it's getting bare in spots! ha!ha! :)

My best Christmas gift ever was that my oldest came home for Christmas. : ) It's the first time he's been back to the Philippines since he left in 2022, so I'm definitely in my happy place...though it's a lot louder and more chaotic than I remember.

Thank you. I adore him. He is so sweet and smart, but behind in speaking, so he starts therapy in January. Because of his speech issues, he calls me Gababa. LOL

They are also saying he may have a mild form of Autism, on the spectrum is how they put it, because of the speech and an inability to "transition" from one task to another like he should. That is something they marked in the assessment. They think the therapy will help with both of them and of course he is having his hearing checked again.

I love it when people love their presents. Giving a well received gift is a gift itself. It always makes my day, so I am glad you got that positive reaction.

That is so sweet! What a great gift. Is she into rocks? My son has collected rocks since he was her age, so giving someone his favorites at that age would have been a big deal.

I have a frame like that too, Jill and it is an awesome gift. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I love being in my Gababa era. :)

That plate is gorgeous. I love unique hand made gifts like that. So much thought, time and work.

He got the Foodie and Tokyo vs Burrito expansion packs for Taco vs Burrito, as well as Exploding Kittens. And I am threatening to go get Unstable Unicorns with the gift card from his great-grandmother (my husband's grandma) because I think she would be tickled pink at the thought.

I love a good pair of slippers. I am always cold, so I wear slippers all the time. I've not heard of that brand, not that it matters much since they are gone now. LOL
