PL 2025- caught up...kind of

Sweet Shoppe SugarBabe
I just finished inputting all my journaling for weeks 1-42!!
I am hoping to find some time this weekend to enter JAN 2025 photos.

How are you all keepin' up?
Will you continue PL in 2026? Any changes you are thinking of making.

I love these updates, they are always so helpful! I feel like I can always tell the state of chaos in my life depending on how much pl I’m getting done!!! I was trucking so well and then now im stagnant. Hopefully soon I’ll finish - 2024.

I've scrapped more this year than I have in ages... unfortunately my project life hasn't gotten as much love as I'd like.

Maybe next year is my year (she says for the 100th year in a row :D)

I've never done Project Life before but I was considering it for next year. I'm pretty good at staying caught up on the kiddo's album but I might want to actually *gasp* document myself.

Will I be biting off more than I can chew?

I always say some pages are better than none, so if you don’t finish the album it’s still more than you had before!

I wish I was more structured with my PL...I work on it so sporadically. Good Luck finishing 2024! I actually can't remember if our 2024 is complete?!

I am committed to having a PL every year...I figure they will get completed one day, right?!

You can give it a shot and maybe set aside an hour a week to work on it. I like that our PL album records our small moments and imperfect photos.

Have you checked out Cindy's All About Me templates? Those might be a good place to start documenting yourself without a full commitment to weekly layouts.

I've looked at them but I'm aiming to do a bit more of "this is the current chaos."

I'm only missing the weeks 29 till 37 since these weeks where during summer break where there were lots of photo's. So that takes more time than other regular weeks where there are taken less photo's.

But other than that I'm close to up to date.

I have January - the first week of August completed. I have photos chosen for the rest of August & September. I'm pretty pleased with my progress especially as I only do PL through November.

These templates are definitely on my "someday I will have time for this project" list ;)

Go you! Are you caught up for all years?

At one point I made a list of years I need to complete but I don't know where that list is LOL

Nice, Wendy!
How are you going to handle the excess number of photos? Create additional pages for those weeks?

Wendy I'm the same with the summer and December. I'll be trucking and then hit them and it slows me up. I just make more pages for those weeks, they almost always have way less embellishments and are mostly photos.

Okay... this thread is giving me FOMO.

Maybe I could tackle a monthly spread for 2025?? I have more than enough photos and I should have enough documentation hmmmmmm

As empty nesters, we don't do enough on a day-to-day basis to make a weekly-style Project Life album work for us.

A monthly summary, on the other hand, is one I can make work. It's my goal to go back and do our family yearbooks as monthly summaries, but I suck big-time at doing it in-the-moment.

Maybe I can tackle it and Karli and I can cheer each other on ... Project 12 instead of Project 52!

I don't make a whole pread for every week, Sometimes I only have 2-3 photo's where I fill the rest up with cards, journaling or embellishments. and than I only make 1 page (side) for a week.

But you should do what feels best for you. I only meant to say you don;t have to make whole spreads for each week
