your favorite books for the cozy season

I need a few new books for the cozy season.

Do you have any tips for me?
Genre... I'm open to almost anything (thrillers aren't really my favorite)

What did you read last?

Cozy mysteries!

They actually work for me in any season! They are mysteries without the gory details. My favorite cozy mystery author is Lynn Cahoon. I read 4 of her books this past week while on my bus trip.

Book threads are my favorite! :)

I just finished some good ones:

The Great Divide by Cristina Henriquez- about the people when Panama Canal was built
Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid
The Eights by Joanna Miller

(obviously my fave genre is Historical Fiction- but all those were 4-5 star reads for me!)

here are some recent faves:

The Martha's Vineyard Beach and Book Club / Martha Hall Kelly
The Stolen Life of Colette Marceau / Kristin Harmel
The Griffin Sisters' Greatest Hits / Jennifer Weiner
The Love We Found / Jill Santopolo
A Map to Paradise / Susan Meissner

I'm not much help because I haven't taken the time to read for a while and I'm slowly getting back into it, I fell for a book for its cover but I really like the story and it's actually quite cozy and perfect for fall. It's classified as romance.
Le vent souffle sur Little Balmoral by Sophie Jomain, I think it's not in English right now but I guess it will be translated soon.

These are the books I read in 2024, the ones with a star (the larger images) were my favorites!

These are the book club books we read in 2024. Not all favorites, but quite a few good ones... highlights include: Remarkably Bright Creatures, First Lie Wins, The Measure, Weyward, Fourth Wing, Six of Crows. If you're looking for a REALLY cozy read The Little Book of Hygge is great!

And, not sure if you're into self-improvement books, but these are my top five favs:

I was working on a top five parenting books as well but got sidetracked, I'm sure I'll finish it one of these days!!

Oh, the cover is really beautiful.
I'll keep an eye out for a German or English translation.

Ooh... there are lots of books here that I read last year too, but also some that I don't know yet.

Thank you very much, now I have a little more fuel for my TBR list.

Atmosphere is on my TBR (well, mor my TBL -to be listened-) list.
Others that are on my TBR/L list are the books in the Dream Harbor series by Laurie Gilmore, with titles like Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon or Gingerbread (what are more autumn/winter smells then these?).

When I was on vacation in Germany (last week op August), I took some photos of books that had my interest (hoping they were available in Dutch). Maybe you get some ideas, although some might be more of a summer read.
