For now, until Robin weighs in, you can see the prompts in the first section - “October’s Portfolio at a Glance from the Babes”. Each image includes a sample layout and the prompt is listed below the layout in the lower left corner.

Am I missing something? Do I just have a broken pinterest or does this only work in the app?
I tried what you and Robin said and opened up that board but the writing is so small, I don't know who can read it!

I don't know how many I'll manage to actually get done, but I'm going to try and play along this month. I love all this Pinterest inspiration!

7 - Scrap a close, cropped photo that features an interesting angle of someone or something.

9 - Get creative with typography.

11 - Scrap a portrait of yourself (or someone else) in a unique and beautiful way. Let your subject fill the entire page.

I'm sorry, I missed a step in my response. When you click on the individual image in that pinboard, it pulls it up in higher resolution. At that point, you can read the prompt:

Again, it's listed in the lower left corner below the image of the layout. Truly, we're not trying to be difficult - the goal is to get people to go to Pinterest and browse through those boards for inspiration. If we list the text prompts here in detail, people skip going to Pinterest entirely.
