Scrapping Needs and Wants

Are there any scrapbook supplies that you feel like you need to have to scrap? What things do you love to use?
Personally, I LOVE to use templates. I have scrapped without them when a challenge required it. I can do it. Just like I can walk to the store if I need to but I would rather drive my car! :). What are your scrapping needs? What are your wants?
I love flowers and greenery and lots of elements and papers, and paint, and mixed media and word art! I guess I love it all! :)

I love it all too! I feel there should be just a regular black and white basics kit that can be recolored to match your page!

String, ribbons, ricrac, date tab, photo frame, staple, stitches (couple different kinds). The basics that sometimes if a specific kit doesn't have one of those items, I then have to search in my stash to find an item that will work...and if it's not the best color wise, I have to either try to recolor it (which I am not the best at) or keep searching until I find something else.

I do love templates, but my favorite challenge is actually a scraplift one, so if all templates were outlawed I would still be ok!

On my pages these days, I like to have:

mixed media
strings
threads
labels
buttons
flowers
foliage
patterned papers
journaling spots

Well, really, I just love everything. I think the one thing I used to not be able to use was journal cards, but I've found a way to incorporate them into my layout compositions when needed.

And I love that y'all love templates. Hmmmm, wonder why? :p

I'm definitely an ALL.THE.THINGS scrapper- so I love a good mix of flowers & foliage, but also buttons/strings/ribbons. I like to have some paint as well as some labels/word arts. I tend to use a lot of journal/pocket cards too. I also really love when there are titles in a collection. Pretty much I want it all! lol

OOH! I love it all! But love threads and arty bits, little splashes of paint! My fave elements are cameras, hearts, exclamation points, speech bubbles, geo tags! I love scatters and confetti!

I'm a sucker for a good template; I don't have to think through how to group items and can move on to using every single detail I love in a kit (or three).

I need to have somewhere to journal, even if it's just a splash of paint over the background.

I love having plenty of options to choose from. Why have 5 flowers when you can have 15?

I also love to use unconventional elements. Right now I'm going through a phase with ship's wheels and fishing nets.

I love templates too - and I can't NOT use a striped paper if it's in the kit. Physically impossible.

Templates have been my love since almost day one when I discovered them. I think one of my first exposures to templates was a challenge at SBB hosted my Melinda (mmbstaley). She might have made one to use, but I can't remember.
I love foliage and flowers too. Ooo, and premade titles or large word art that I can use as a title. I can use paint, but I'm also fine without it.

Solid papers
A variety of flowers with dimension
A variety of greenery
A chunky alpha or thicker scripty wordart

Oh yes! This! I need this in soft browns and off white. Neutral colors.

UHmm I'm a template kinda girl...I just need to use one hahaha
But also flowers, foliage and loads patterned papers and templates..
did I mentioned them before... :w00t: Ohh and wordarts and some
good title work...gotta love/have those!

I understand the paper... for me it is a plaid!

Templates are a must. Enough flowers so that I can have different ones in the several clusters on the page. Solid papers. Foliage.

I go back and forth between relying heavily on templates at times and other times just throwing stuff on a page and seeing where it takes me.

I love me a wooden paper. LOVE. I also really like to have a lightly patterned or monochrome paper for the main background.

I almost always use some kind of splatter, paint, and/or scatter.

And in general I like to have a lot of options for layering stuff. It doesn't have to be flowers and foliage, though I totally appreciate them... just a mix of ephemera and bits and bobs of things to cluster with.

Ribbons (straight and curled), Bows, and Strings are my go-to items. I hate it when a kit does not have them. I feel they add texture to a page

Add me to the template scrapper group... takes me so much longer without one!

Also love a variety of flowers and greenery, buttons and string... oh, and paint. ;) Love a big title or more than 1 alpha to create a title with too.

And PLEASE give me a solid white paper.... I typically use that for photo borders, so if there isn't one, it's a problem. ;)

I like ALLLLL the tings... flowers, greenery, strings, ribbons, scatters...
But when I started scrapping year and years ago, each LO had to have buttons... now, I don't use them nearly as much as I used too.

Can I say all of it?!

Particular favourite pretties are word art, buttons, flair and scatters.

Also a plea for alternate UK spellings for Mom (Mum), colors (colours), flavours (flavours), favorites (favourites), also vacation (holiday). I'm easily swayed away from a kit if there are too many word arts like this. And a huge thanks to the designers that already do this!
