Not every beach is tropical...

Those of you who 'know' northern beaches know that they are filled with palm trees and flamingos. But was says a north coast beach to YOU? I'm working on something and want to keep myself on point!

Oooh!!! My ideas...sand...minnows...beach balls...floating...shelters...tents...dunes...grass...snacks...beach umbrellas...

YES! Oregon coast is my favorite! I would say wind, the long beach grasses and sea otters! lol Also love all the birds that are on Haystack rock too!

Tide pools, Cannon beach/Pacific City type haystacks, light houses, seals, wind, no bathing suits, sweatshirts, wind, kites of various kinds, sunsets, sand dippers, rain type boots for rock/agate/shell hunting, mesh bags for holding beach finds, clam chowder at Mo's, windy roads, fresh fish & chips, bonfires, walking dogs

We've spent a lot of time on the Oregon Coast =)

The couple of Massachusetts beaches I saw last fall had lot of tall grasses, dunes covered with other foliage and rock walls to help keep erosion of the nearby land from happening. Lighthouses are also very prevalent in Massachusetts.

Anyone who knows about Mo's definitely knows Oregon coastline.

Look in my gallery at all my Minnesota pages. lol I am constantly begging for kits that will fit all my North Shore photos.

Rocks, evergreens, driftwood, dark colors.

Is it asking too much for a beach kit that is not orange/hot pink/yellow but also not nautical red, white, & blue? :D We visit different beaches on Lake Michigan during the summer so we have regular beach things minus the palm trees/flamingoes/tropical drinks/floaties.

Mari, maybe you can link me to several layout that truly show what you are after. I went through page after page in your gallery not yet getting to more than one layout that might have had a touch of what you wanted.

I think you will find my finished kit might meet that requirement.

I can't wait to see what you will have Tracey! Here's the beaches seems to look more like what the ladies described. We don't have flamingos and tropical elements either. I'm curious now!:p

Did you ever buy my lake kit? I think it would work nicely for photos around Superior like that. But you will find I did add wa for Lake Superior into Northern Beaches. If price was a concern, I'm sure we will be headed into some summer sale soon enough.
