Girls Scouts cookies

My daughter Eloise (8) and a few of her friends created a Girls Scouts troop with the help of a few moms last year. It is their first year selling cookies and they are trying to raise money to go do something fun around nature, maybe camping, maybe a trip to a local animal encounter place.

We went door to door last weekend but this is the extent of our reach. I haven’t kept in touch with people on the West Coast since our move to Baltimore, and my whole family is in France so that doesn’t help.

If it’s not allowed please let me know and remove this post but I thought I’d share her online store here since it just opened today and maybe it can reach more people that way. If you are local to Baltimore (which I doubt?) we can deliver to you for free otherwise you can pick the shipping option at check out.

Thank you to anyone who is willing to help my daughter reach her cookie goal.

I'm unable to order but I wish her the best luck in sales!! In canada we only have a couple options for cookies - chocolate/vanilla for one season and chocolate mint during another.

I grew up in guiding and I think it's a great organization :)

aww thank you Kristin! That's too bad that they only offer 2 options for you guys in Canada!

It's great that your girl is selling cookies! I checked her link and I am delighted that she sells different cookies than my daughter! So that's cool. I will probably put an order in!

That's fantastic, Lea! I was a Brownie and a Junior, and Girl Scouts was a big part of my childhood.

I ordered 5 boxes as donations to be given in your local community. I shouldn't have the sugar (Samoas are my weakness! though I think they call them Caramel Delights now) and that also avoids the cost of shipping.

I know it's not a lot, but hopefully it'll help a bit toward her cookie sales goal.

Good luck!

aww you guys are amazing!! And you say it's not much but it's a lot to us! Every boxes count toward their goal so thank you so so much from the bottom of our heart!

And Samoas and Caramel Delites are the same cookies but Girls Scouts has two bakeries that they use and one calls them Samoas and the other calls them Caramel Delites.

GSUSA have two bakers/bakeries ... the original Little Brownie Bakers and another bakery whose name I can't remember. The second bakery can't use certain cookie names so that's why Samoas are called Caramel Delights in certain areas.

I sold GS cookies back in the 60s, then my daughter sold them in the 80's and my granddaughter in the 2000's.

I loved scouting ... was a co-leader for my daughter's and granddaughter's troops, and was active in my grandsons' cub packs and boy scout troop. Was cookie mom for a number of years too.

I hope your daughter's troop is successful. Off to check out the cookies ...

Thank you so much for your donation and for your kind words and support! I think Girl Scout is a really great organization and I’m glad it’s still popular these days.

Someone else donated cookies but I don’t recognize the email address left. Is there a salliebice here?
