Favorite season or holiday to scrap?

With all the holidays this time of year, I was wondering - do you have a favorite holiday or season to scrap? I've noticed I tend to scrap a lot of photos that I take in spring/early summer because it's when we tend to get out more before the heat gets too oppressive here in Louisiana.

Product wise, I definitely gravitate to Halloween and Christmas. And I like to scrap both of those a lot, and I think I scrap a lot around back to school and my birthday.

Oooh yes birthdays! I need to scrap more of those. I just need to scrap more in general. :D

Galactic core season! Also manatee season, first week of school, October (a bunch of birthdays and Halloween), December (Hanukkah, Christmas, & New Year's), and March (since my son gets us to go to Kennedy Space Center for his birthday now).

Being in Florida, we don't do a lot of outdoors during the never-ending summer because it's just too hot to be alive. We did Legoland in July and I overheated. No thank you.

Looking back at my beginnings of digital scrapping, I noticed that I tended to scrap a lot of autumn photos showing the gorgeous colors of fall. Fast forward to more recent times and I now do an "October Daily" where I take photos everyday of the everchanging foliage. This year was my third year to take photos (just started scrapping this year's yesterday).

So I guess I'd say autumn photos. I have a lot of autumn kits. Years ago I would scrap a lot of snow photos but it seems like we haven't had the really big snows in more recent years to even take photos of. We still have snow but usually a couple inches that sometimes might not even cover the grass. It's been more of bone chilling temperatures that doesn't photograph well at all in the last few winters!

As for holidays, they are not that big of a deal to me with no children/grandchildren. As the extended family gets smaller, there are not as many family celebrations either.

Manatee season! I love it! And I totally get you about the weather.

I would love to have more autumn photos! We don't really get much leaf-changing around here, but I do take lots of photos on our annual pumpkin patch visit.

If the underwater webcam wasn't temporarily down, I'd be linking you to my daily manatee fix. They all congregate near the power plant when it gets cold so FPL built a little facility for people to watch them and set up a webcam. Last year, I got a screenshot of a nurse shark nestled under the manatees.

My family also tends to go places to visit them. I know where the wild manatees tend to congregate near here (and the springs further north where hundreds show up every year) and it's not hard to persuade my mom to drive ;)

I think I do a good job at scrapping all the things, but I do have a lot of Christmas and Fall/Halloween layouts. I honestly haven't looked to see, but that's what it feels like.

I have so many photos left to scrap, so I try to go back in time and scrap at least a page from an event or date so something is represented in my memory albums. I'd love it if I were more focused and could just scrap each event.

I like to scrap most of the seasons equally - just hate summertime. I've never been a big holiday person, but I tend to take the most photos at Christmastime. Plus I love Christmas kits!

I would say Vacation/ summer. Most of our vacations happen to warmer climates or during warmer times of the year, and I love travel so the 2 of those combined are my favorite time of year to scrap!

After so many years of scrapping, looking back I think I am more into scrapping daily/ordinary moments that were captured by my phone. I am not big into 'a day in life' thing, but I do snap moments here and there.
As for holidays, well... we have a different set of holidays here than the rest of the world, so I just make do with the photos I have :)

Oh my gosh that's amazing!! I've always wanted to see one in person.

I take a ton of Christmas photos and that's probably my favorite thing to scrap besides beach vacations...but I haven't been to the beach for a while, so not many left of those to scrap. I definitely have more Christmas themed kit than anything else!

For me it's changing as my kids get older. I used to have the most fun with fall, Halloween, and playing in the snow. Now that I don't have young kids, I get a lot fewer everyday/seasonal photos and more event photos.

Yeah I have a harder time with seasonal photos now overall since my kids are all teens.

I don't know if it's my favorite but I probably have more New Year's Eve pages than any other holiday! I always start the year enthusiastically on a new "project life" kind of project with New Year's Eve. Some years I finish, some (most?) I don't. :D

I love monthly highlight type layouts and events. Christmas and travel mean the most photos are taken.
Being an empty nester now, it's more when we are together that photos are taken.
