Creative ways to spice up a meeting

We have a small team of 6 and we've all been tasked with 'spicing up' our weekly meetings for a month ....

My month is coming and I have ZERO ideas on how I can make them more interesting. The last 3 people have done: magic card tricks, interesting facts you didn't know, and a Kahoot.

Does anyone have any great ideas or ideas at all to make a meeting more fun? We're an HR team, and it's during work hours - so no alcohol lol

We each do a Rose & Thorn in our morning meetings- something that's good (rose) and something we want to try to do better (thorn) for the day- keeps us on task, but also helps let everyone else know what you're working on so that we feel supported. I secretly love it! ;)

We do Rose and Thorn with the kids coming home from school every day!

You could do two truths and a lie? Or two lies and a truth?
You could do show and tell? Seriously, I don't understand why we don't have show and tell any more as adults.
What about three wishes? 1 - for yourself, 1 - for the group, 1 - for your business/community? It could open up some creative ideas for unnoticed problems.

Or play musical chairs. A chance to get up and move. And you could ask each person in the group for their favorite work appropriate song for the music?

My idea of a fun meeting is for it to be as short as possible. Haha! Challenge everyone to get their points across as briefly and succinctly as possible. Time the meeting, then next time try to beat that time.

When someone compliments another team member - surprise them with a treat, but no explanation. After it happens a couple of times, people start to clue on, but it's a fun way to reinforce giving compliments and support to your team members. We did it at church one day. The teacher had a tray of chocolate dipped strawberries but didn't tell us what they were for. At random times during the class lesson she'd silently hold the tray out to someone to take a strawberry (because they'd said something nice about another person) then carry on with the lesson like nothing happened. Took a few times for us to figure it out, but it was cool - certainly left an impression years later.

Alternatively you can have treats and booby prizes for certain keywords that are used in the meeting. E.g. if you want to discourage people being negative or saying the word no, give them a booby prize each time they say it. Like a sour candy or something. If you want to encourage positivity or creative solutions, give a sweet treat when someone says something nice or positive.

I don't like meetings as it is, and to spice them up only extends them! Ugh! LOL Fortunately, my boss is all for getting our monthly cases meeting done in about 30 minutes, although we've had a lot to talk about the last few months, especially with a new-to-the-firm attorney. That being said, I like the roses and thorns idea.

I have watched a few reels where the meeting leader puts a note on the door for attendees to dance as they enter for a "prize". It might be fun to see who does / who doesn't do that ...?

My last office job was at a very uh... unconventional company. We once had a meeting where we ended up playing Cards Against Humanity at the end. It was some of the most productive brainstorming we ever had with one of our coworkers too. That might be a tad too spicy for your job though ;)

I think it would be fun to do a meeting bingo card. (A quick Google search shows a bunch of pre-made as well as generators to make your own.) Maybe offer fancy pens or Post-Its as prizes?

I remember doing some team building games years ago but I can't even come up with an idea right now! Why can't I remember??

Oh that takes a bit of prep but if everyone sends you a photo of them when they were a baby or kid, and then try to match them up. With a team of 6 that would be pretty fast.

But that's one idea.

Oh now I remember my daughter had sort of bingo game card with specific things in each section and had to go around the classroom and ask each classmates if they belonged to that square. They had to fill the whole card/page with a name. (have a dog, have a cat, lives in a house, have no yard, loves art... just things like that)

edit: looks like Brendazzle talked about the same thing.
