My DIL says she is not a memory keeper, but she is taking monthly photos of Wren to show his growth. What cracks me up is she is how she is highlighting it.

Yes, with a pizza. As you can see the pieces are getting smaller as he gets bigger. I told her pretty soon he is going to reach out and grab a slice to eat.

Wren is four, almost 5 months now, and is my favorite person ever. He is always changing and growing and his new thing is to grab me by the ears and plant slobbery kisses all over my face. I love it, slobber and all.

It is so much fun being a grandma. For all the other grandmas out there, share a photo and what new thing you love best about your grand or grands. :)

Oh wow how cute are those pictures! Love the idea of the pizza but for sure he is going to grab a slice soon!:D This is adorable and your grandson is so cute and sweet!

LOL, he is eating actual baby food now, so if you are eating anything he is yelling to get some. That pizza is a goner in the not so distant future. :)

hahaha! I believe it! what a cute idea. I have a Facebook friend who has done something similar with the pizza slices and I always thought that was so creative. now I want pizza. lol

I was lame-o, I took monthly photos of Ryker in a basket.

That's adorable! I'm so glad you're getting to enjoy being a grandmother.

As I get closer to that stage in life, I have immense guilt that I took those moments away from my parents by choosing to live overseas. I mean, we always made the most of the time we were together, but now that I can see myself being in the grandparent situation, well, that changes my perspective a little, doesn't it?

It definitely changes the life perspective when you reach that stage.

In regards to time with your parents, I think you should at things from a quality not quantity perspective. I bet your folks have wonderful memories from your special times together to hold close when your family is not around.

I also think they gave you wings to fly and accept that those wings took you overseas. As long as you've had a happy life, I bet they have been fine with it all.

That is absolutely adorable! I love it! I know when my daughter did the monthly photos with her signs, it became harder as she got older! LOL The pizza photos might get super funny!

There is nothing better than being a Gigi! Here is our little cutie giving her Pop Pop some love.

Love how the record is being kept. Pretty sure at one year she should have a photo of him sitting in a pizza box just eating one slice of pizza. LOL
