World Kindness Day is a day that promotes the importance of being kind to each other, to yourself, and to the world. It also serves as a reminder to all that simple acts of kindness have power and that together, we can all work to create a kinder world.

I love how SSD cultivates kindness everyday! From chatting about all sort of subjects in the forums, to leaving love on each other's layouts ... it's those small gestures that mean so much!

I am on the social committee at work and we decided to celebrate a non-traditional or wacky holiday every other month, so today we left these on everyone's desk. It says "Whisking you a Happy World Kindness Day" with a quote below. It was filled with Hershey's kisses. Super cute, cheap and we had a fun time spreading some cheer.

Kindness is a wonderful reason to celebrate the day.
For me, a small kind gesture of an elderly man giving up his seat for Michelle when we got on the bus full of people yesterday was enough to make my day. :)
