name 3 things that are always by your bed

1. a mountain of clothes that need to be folded
2. my little tech side-kick Alexa
3. since it's winter -- a space heater up on the dresser

I had to chuckle at the mountain of clothes one...:D I was too tired to finish folding up the basket of towels the other day so I just moved it off the bed onto the floor until the next morning when I could face it head on.

My nightstand is piled with WAY more than 3 things. Ha ha ha! I guess I'm high maintenance... but my top three are:

1. Kindle - can't sleep without reading
2. Glasses - can't read without glasses
3. Water

I also have to have a fan. I have a pretty good app on my phone for white noise when I travel. It's so funny when I go to someone else's house and say... um, I can't sleep, it's too quiet. Ha ha! I also have hand cream and chapstick and kleenex at the ready too.

1. iPhone
2. Water Bottle
3. My recently prescribed Synthroid so that I can take it early and go back to sleep for a bit. I don't want to have to wait to have my coffee. lol

1. iPhone and charger
2. glass of water
3. Chapstick

I don't need much because I'm one of those people who falls asleep within a minute or two of laying down to sleep. And I sleep for a solid six hours (almost to the minute) and then *boing* wide awake. It's great to fall sleep easily, but I can't sleep in at all anymore, which would be nice on those days when I don't have to get up.

So many people with white noise apps, I never even thought to look for an app. Which one do you use?

You sound like my hubby. He's asleep almost before his head hits the pillow and he can't sleep in either.

Hey Karen. Substitute kindle for tablet and we are definitely kindred spirits.

1. lotion
2. iPhone
3. Atomic Habits (Surely, someday, having it on my bedside table will cause me to finish it, right??)

I had to chuckle at #3 because if it's outta sight, it's outta mind with me. Even when I leave things out, I forget to do something with them... :D

On my bedside table I have the following (not all my choice mind you)

Modem & Phone (we had to shift them from their original place as there was too much interference from the fridge & microwave) and we had the best signal if they were in my room.

Glasses, watch, drink of some kind and aloe vera spray (I get bitten by mosquitoes on the regular and have done since I was young).

I also have between my bed and bedside table a desk fan that I bring up as I need which right now is most days and my CPAP machine that I use at night (if it stayed on my bedside table all the time there would be no room for anything else)

well, there are much more stuff than just 3 things....but those are must haves:
1. water
2. my kindle
3. my telephone

Cleaning cloth for my glasses.
Ear plugs.
Nasal Spray.

When I'm in bed you can add my iPhone and iPad to the list as well as a drink.
