What are you watching?

Honestly, I am not a TV person! Instead, I enjoy listening to books. Right now, I'm reading The Wheel of Time, by Robert Jordan. I started reading this series back in the late 80s, and then stopped for some reason or another. The narrators of the books are excellent and I'm enjoying them immensely!

AND, I can listen while I scrap. ;)

I just finished an old British comedy called Black Books. It was the first comedy in a long time that had me laughing out loud for almost the whole show each episode. It's on Acorn TV and I totally recommend it!

I am watching Manifest during study breaks, The Walking Dead season 9 on the treadmill, King of the Hill with my husband, Lost in Space with my family, and My 600 pound life on my own when at home.

Me too! I watch some TV but I like that i can multitask more when I "read" by audiobook! I finished 106 books last year which is way more than I would have read in hard copy.

I listen to audiobooks while I drive. I have an hour commute to work and back so that's lots of good listening time (but thankfully only twice a week!) Any time I'm in the car alone I'm listening. I love it!

I'm a huge fan of murder mystery as well. Although I read a lot of detective books, I also enjoy watching and listening to podcast. I'm currently re-watching The X Files, watching Bailey Sarian's weekly youtube videos, listening to Ashley Flowers' Crime Junkie and Supernatural podcast.

I loved Manifest, although it definitely got a bit weird lol.

Mostly I watch things I've already seen when I'm scrapping so that I don't have to pay super close attention. Some favorites include er, 24, and Friday Night Lights.

Ohhh, "Manifest"! We binge watched it during the first year of Covid, and I'm so excited that it got picked up again and we will have another season soon!!!

Right now we are watching "New Girl" and "Leverage Redemption".

Molly you got me all curious about Black Books. I love British comedy aswell. On my to watch list!

I love to watch TV because I am almost always doing a bit of crocheting or knitting at the same time. Somehow I need to watch something when I knit/crochet. It feels weird to sit on the couch and just knit....
I am weird.. I realize it when I am writing this down.

Well Mirjam better knit than eat (like me) :D
Some of my favorites ever are My brilliant friend and The handmaid's tale - really good. Watching on HBO GO.

Then I am weird too. I haven't had time to knit in a while, but if I do, I always have something playing on the TV. Usually something that I can listen to more than just watch.

EXACTLY!!!! that's me too. I thinks it's how I learned a a few words of swedish by 'watching' scandinavian series on Netflix while crocheting....

I love true crime ... and on the flip side, I like series like Virgin River or Sweet Magnolias.
Just started watching Yellowstone, but having a hard time getting into it.
I'll be watching the Olympics every chance I have over the next few weeks.
I watch TV while I scrap ... scrapping on a 27" monitor and watching shows on a laptop ... sounds backwards to most folks but makes sense to me as a scrapper! LOL!

I love watching Masterchef (Aus or US)and other similar sort of reality shows. At the moment our netflix isn't working so I am rewatching old seasons of Survivor.

Also loved watching Virgin River and Heartland.
Watched the whole of Mary Queen of Scotts on Netflix during 2020 and then start The Crown but gave up.

I've been rewatching the old ER series, which is great. I also just finished the original SATC so I could watch the new one, And Just Like That. Love SATC... the new one is just meh for me. I feel like they're too concerned with ticking all the boxes and being politically correct.

I also recently finished Yellowstone and want to start on 1183 next.

SATC is my go-to when there is nothing else on! I've seen those episodes so many times. I was so excited about AJLT, but I was a little disappointed, too. I still can't get over the first episode (don't want to say any spoilers!)! I'm not really liking the direction they took Miranda AT ALL. There were lots of things I did like about it-it was shot beautifully, for one. I wish the episodes would have been longer as well as the whole season. My husband and I watch Yellowstone together and we have the last one to watch yet. I started 1883 and it is really good!

Currently, I'm watching The Good Wife. And waiting for Outlander season 6!

1883, but we're a couple behind. I just finished Emily in Paris, I've been watching Felicity for months now it seems. And I just started Pam and Tommy on Hulu. Oh, Book of Boba Fett too.

Watched Yellowstone. Am staying current with This is Us. And always watching a few cooking shows...like Next Level Chef. But the thing that I'm binging right now is House of Cards. I never watched it when everyone was talking about it. For now, that's my big time waster. ;-)

One more true crime and mystery murder series here...

well, just added Archive 81 on my list, gotta check this one!
on Netflix I'm binge watching Bordentown, just finished Stay Close and I also LOVE Queer Eye...I need something normal to balance my heart after watching criminal shows LOL

Any Gilmore Girls freaks here?

Definitely me! It's basically constantly in my "continue watching" folder in Netflix. It's my go-to show when I want to just listen along while I'm doing something crafty. I've seen the series so many times that I don't even have to look anymore to "see" it! :D

I've never seen any of it, but it is on my list.

I just started Bridgerton on Netflix. I loved the book series, so I am hoping this will be as good.

I am seriously thinking about getting rid of my dish network because all I have watched since November is streaming channels.

Another crime, mystery, sci fi, fantasy series addicted over here!!!

We're currently watching The Witcher, The wheel of time, The Peacemaker and Boba Fett. Oh and we started Pam & Tommy this week. But I have a bunch of other series that I watch here and there when I have a little time to spare like Law and Order SVU, ER, The Good Wife, Dexter, Criminal Minds and of course Gilmore Girls!!

Just started the Olympics.

Any one else watching?? I DVR them so I can FF thru commercials... and cause I usually just watch the ice skating and gymnastics.

Ah....the Witcher is also awesome! My sister stopped watching because she couldn't stand his grunting!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me!! I love and this is my favorite family series!! I'm always re watching, and I'm #teamJess...

The first time I watched it through, I was Team Dean all the way. Then I rewatched it and saw the nuances of Jess, and switched alliances. I was never team Logan. I didn't like the way they changed Rory's character around him.

I wasn't Team Jess until after I watched "This Is Us" and now I love that actor so much it changed my opinion of his character on GG! :D

And man, if you want a good crying show, This Is Us is for you!!!

I don't know why, but I tried to watch "This is Us" and I just couldn't get into it. I usually love shows like that too. Even Milo didn't help hold me!

I may try it out again. At the time it started, we were having family problems and that may have colored it for me.

My youngest and I are watching 7th Heaven. My youngest 2 and I are watching Friends sometimes. We watch a lot of Hallmark and cooking shows (just finished crime scene kitchen! Very fun!).

On my own I usually watch NCIS, Le Brea, Survivor and I need to watch Amazing Race. I missed that Amazing Race started back up, so I need to catch up on that.

Our Disney+ stops working anytime we go on vacation to WDW. I was there in Nov so....it's finally working again, time to catch up on shows!

Gosh...it's been forever since I watched Black Books. I think I have it on DVD somewhere.

I heard they're bringing back the original Law & Order, which is awesome. I adore mysteries and crime serials but usually have to watch them alone since DH is not a fan. If you don't mind subtitles, I highly recommend Deadwind on Netflix. It's a fantastic police serial from Finland.
