Hi everyone, I am so excited to be the SweetShoppe Designs Featured Designer for the next two weeks.

We are in another extended lockdown down here in Melbourne and I am feeling desperately in need of A Self-Care Day.
A mani-pedi, hair do, meal out with friends, even a walk with more than just one member of my family.

This gave me the idea to create A Self-Care Day Kit and Add-ons so we can all enjoy A Self-Care Day together.

This is my granddaughter being spoiled by her auntie with a manicure. She just loves being pampered and your kit was perfect to scrap those precious memories. Thank you for the chance to win! I think it's awesome too that her outfit and her nail polish matches perfectly with the colors of your kit. Serendipity!

aww this is gorgeous Lidia. and what a lucky young lady to get a wonderful treat with her aunt. so very cute.

and of course, nail polish has to match the outfit ;) xx
 
On top of the regular stresses of life/work/parenthood, my ex recently had to start the paperwork for disability for his rapidly progressing Parkinson's which puts a lot of things in limbo like my kid's health insurance, child support and the very real possibility that they may lose their dad much sooner than one would normally anticipate. It kind of feels like 'it's always something' right now. A little break from life was just what I needed.

this is beautiful Jennifer. I'm so glad you got a bit of 'me time' to help calm you. I am a huge fan of a massage and as soon as we are out of lockdown I will be booking one!
