Kit request : Something menopausal?

Now don't all shout at me at once lol.We all go through it and it SUCKS! I would love a kit for those hot and cold flashy sweaty moody menopausal days and nights!

Would others be interested? :D
 
Ha! I'm interested. I don't know if I'm menopausal or not. Time will tell. But, my irregular periods the past couple of years (including long stretches in between) and, what seems to be, hormonal mood swings and, just maybe, hot flashes...yeah, I'm interested. Regrettably.
 
yes! And anything with hormones and thyroid, etc. I've been peri since I was 36... it's getting old. Be done already... I miss wearing sweaters.

I'm wearing a sweater right now and it is 80F outside! And, I went through menopause 15 years ago! Hot flashes don't happen as often so most of the time I'm cold.

I now understand why "little old ladies" wear scarves on their necks during the summer.

This is what I've been trying to say in your thread. There are things that happen to older people that could be documented but the kits just aren't there since everything is so focused on kids. JMHO

As a 55 year old, I do not disagree with this at all. I just like to know what you are guys are looking for when you mention things because not all of us experience the same thing. For instance, I have thyroid issues, but have never had a hot flash. I am always freezing to death instead. To be honest, I don't think that I personally do a lot of kids kits, but I could be wrong. I've learned in those 55 years, that I don't always see things the way other people do. Hopefully threads like this will help us designers expand our offerings. :)
 
I think this would be hilarious!!! And yes, the suffering is real. Erica would be perfect for a kit like this!!

I do have a few of your kits because they are not focused on kids ;)

And, I hear you on the freezing. I had long pants and a sweater on earlier today (it was in the 70's). Only put on shorts when I went outside to do some cleanup on the patio. Hot flashes are what most women complain about with the change of life but freezing is something a lot of women have as well. A bunch of us were talking about this in a FB group I am in just today. And within a matter of minutes I've gone for hotter than Hades to colder than the Arctic.

So a kit about a woman's hormonal changes could definitely have things for both sides of it!

Thank you for purchasing my kits and thank you for confirming what I thought about not having a lot of kids kits. LOL

I think such a kit would work on all kinds of levels, so I hope it gets made. :)

By the way, I am not 55, I am still 54. Not that it matters one little tiny bit, but I tend to do that. When my sister and brother have their birthdays, which are close together at the beginning of the year, I just turn a year older in my mind too, even though I have almost 8 months before my actual birthday. LOL That's nuts, but that's me. Always in a hurry! :D
 
Thanks for the vote of confidence ladies! I did get some word art/card ideas in mind as soon as I started reading this... I may just do it if no one else started on one already ;)

I'd be for this, but would love to see a nod to those of us who've had hysterectomies.

I still have ovaries and I have NO idea if what stage I'm in. I'm 47 and had the partial hysterectomy 6 years ago. I had a period where I had hot flashes a few years back but they didn't last long and I still have the sore breasts that used to come with my period. Its crazy to not know what is going on with my body. I guess a doctor could run a panel and tell me!
 
SO. Many. 3am Nights. My brain is fried & my body is all kinds of sore, but stay tuned to the shoppe tomorrow!
