Since our crazy schedule was basically cancelled... why not get a new puppy!? 🤪 Meet Nelly Cheezit Wheeler (Decs' choice since Hayden named Lucy lollipop!) We wanted an name that started with an N after our hockey billet player that just left (noah) and a middle name that started with a C for the corona virus. I think Declan's name is perfect! ;) She's an 11 week old English Bulldog & we all love her- even Lucy (so far!) However, I have fogotten what it is like to have a new baby in the house- I was up all night with her! At least we have NOTHING to do this weekend!

She is sooooooo adorable. Hubby wanted to adopt a pitty, but I would rather have our own home with a fenced in yard so he/she can run, run run. Plus we have a cat in the house and need to make sure he/she will get along LOL!

We have a wireless fence, so we'll have to work on training her for sure. I'm secretly hoping our older bully will help lay down the law! ;) So far she is tolerating this new thing... she's a bit grumpy but not lashing out, so hopefully they'll get into a rhythm & get along. Lucy usually loves a leaf that blows by, so I'm kinda shocked she isn't 101% about the new puppy!

This is a great time for a puppy. We rehomed the last of our puppies in the past week. The families have all said that they are so happy to have time off to be home with the puppies and that the puppies have provided a great distraction for their kids. Our last puppy (the one from the litter we kept) had her moment the other night. The night that the last 3 were rehomed, she cried and cried all night looking for her siblings. It was heart wrenching. Thankfully she has settled in to an 'only pup' status. She's one of 7 dogs so she's not lonely. She was just missing her littermates.
 
How cute!! Such an adorable distraction during the quarantine.

Oh my goodness.....she is just the cutest !!! Perfect time to get a new pup for sure...all the time to do training and get lots of puppy cuddles (so jealous!)

Nelly is SO adorable!!! :wub: I love her so much and can't wait to see more photos of her throughout the upcoming days!!!
 
OMGoodness...she is beyond cute!!! I've been debating about adding another pup into our family. This pulls at my heart strings and makes me want one!
 
She is a cutie! Thanks for sharing and congrats on the new addition! I look forward to watching her grow up in your layouts. :)
