App Scrapping

Does anyone use an app to make layouts on an ipad? I don't want to make pocket pages; I want to use templates & use my kits and make regular layouts. My computer needs to be replaced, but the only reason I would replace it is for scrapping. Everything else I can do on my iPad, so if I could find a way to make layouts on my iPad, I could save a few hundred dollars.

I scrap 100% from my iPad using Affinity Photo which operates very similarly to Adobe. I have my kits and templates saved on iCloud.

That sounds doable. I’ve been looking into ways to connect my external hard drive to my iPad. What about downloading kits? Can you download kids to your iPad?

I download my kits into my iCloud account and organize using the Files app on my iPad. I am 100% an app (Affinity) scrapper and love the ease and portability of using my iPad & Affinity.

I do the same except have my kits tagged by Designer and Theme within the Cloud. I’ve never used the Files app; would you mind sharing a screenshot of your set up? Although the system I have works, I still believe it could be improved upon.

I have the newer iPad Pros. I do have my kits backed up to an external drive that connects to the iPad. Downloading kits is very easy now with the release of the new iPad OS.

I hadn’t thought about sorting by Designer. I currently have them sorted in alphabetical folder by kit name. The preview is tagged with Store/Designer/Theme but the negative side I’ve found is there’s a limit to the amount of tags I can have. Maybe I should try designer folders instead.

I sort that way because I have favorite designers and I remember their kits. I have everything tagged so it really doesn’t matter because I just search by “solid paper” or “flower”, etc. and I can see everything anyway. I just like having things sorted. Anything that is a collaboration goes in my “Colab” folder and each designer name is added to the title.
