Facebook Header Question

Neverland Scraps

Totally non-related to Sweet Shoppe (well maybe not?) or DSD.
I have a Facebook page where I post my layouts, sometimes the occasional pixie plate (that's my fancy word for template) and like this weekend, freebies (from like blog hops, etc).

My header, I'm getting sick of seeing it. Since I'm no longer designing (this month is one year!!) am I allowed to use my scrappy goods from oh say, Sweet Shoppe and make a new header? Or does that fall under S4H or other things since it's MY name (Neverland Scraps) on the Facebook page?

I don't want to step on anyone's toes or do something illegal!

Or am I really overthinking it???

Hmmm. Interesting. I figured someone would know the answer to my question. Might have to send it to the store “contact us” to get some clarification about scrapping a header for a Facebook page.

I think it would be ok. It's no different to uploading a layout you've already created for your header. You're not selling it or sharing the kit - and you're not making any profit from it. I'll direct one of the designers to this thread, but I'm sure it's OK to make a facebook header with your kits, as long as it's just for you.

That's what I thought, but I didn't want to do something wrong and get in bad favor with SSD or a designer! I've held off doing anything with my header for quite some time, but I'm growing sick of it every day I look at it! :D

Oh and thank you for directing someone to this question. I really do appreciate it!

So... this is a FB account that was once used for your design business? Just getting the deets straight. :D

No, This Facebook page was NEVER used when I sold in a store. I had a Facebook group where I did all my advertising, etc. That group was archived the day my store closed last October. Since then, as a way to share my layouts (and maybe advertise them more?), I opened this Facebook page, where I could promote my designers through my scrapping. I share the occasional freebie (whether it's mine, blog train or something that I've found along the way). Just recently I shared several videos how to make a photo in to a stained glass paper. But mostly, it's just layouts that I scrapped that week or the week previous.

This is my Facebook page for you to check it out.

The only thing that is mine (like I make) is when I share a template or participate in a template hop. But I don't design/sell in a store. I save that creativity for scrapping my designer's amazing products and maybe one day become a SugarBabe!

For me this would be totally fine! If you're not making any money off it, it falls under personal use so that's definitely allowed :)

Thank you SO much!! After the DSD festivities settle down, I'll work on a new header. I wasn't sure if it was allowed. I mean I didn't think it would be a problem, but SO much has changed throughout the years and like I said, I just didn't want to get in trouble!!

So thank you all for chiming in and answering my question. I really do appreciate it so very much!!

I think that looking at your page, I would be confused. Your mission section says that you are sharing scrapbooking as well as sharing Neverland Scraps products. So much of the page looks like a designer page to me. I would be confused if I stumbled across your page through a blog hop or something and then saw SSD products in the header (and on your layouts) but a template you were giving away of your own.

I haven't designed in a few years but still have my design page. (Oddly I still get likes quite often!) Even though I'm no longer designing, I wouldn't use my design name as a way to share or promote anything else, kwim? I use products for my personal profile header though.
