Some SSD love-mojo is back

I had been away for quite awhile but came back this year and all I can say is.....what took me so long???? LOL.

You all have inspired me so much with your amazing LO designs and I have a renewed mojo for scrapping, improving my clustering and have been getting so excited about the kits here. I've been buying and scrapping lots this month and it's thanks to SSD, it's members and it's designers.

The other bonus of coming back at this time is the change in the challenge system. It was good before but now I think it's even better. Believe me, I'm never leaving again :)

So....thx everyone, it's been a much needed mojo burst for me. Some of you may know, our family has suffered a tremendous medical trauma this past year and my scrapping suffered from the stress, time constraints and frustration with dealing with our medical system. I'm happy to say that things have stabilized somewhat with the family trauma and the renewed mojo for scrapping couldn't have come at a better time.

Who's joining me in some SSD love????

Aw Rae, I'm glad you've had such a happy experience returning to scrapping. It's been great having you back in the forum, and your pages have been wonderful.

I'm glad to see you back again too! I love your pages and all your doggie LOs plus the glimpses of Vancouver in some of them - I lived there for a couple of years and its so beautiful - your pics bring back fun memories!

hugs rae!!!

Ps. Sorry to hear about your medical frustrations and difficulties. Things are stupid on this side of BC too :(

It's sooooooo good to see you here again Rae! I've loved seeing your pages and your pretty face in the forum! So glad things have stabilized for you and you're getting your mojo back!

Yay! Congrats on getting that scrapping mojo back! It's great to see your smiling face in the forum! :)

Thx everyone! Hopefully you still feel that way after seeing a multitude of pages about Taz, my neightborhood and all my macro/nature stuff LOL.

Seriously though....I appreciate the open arms welcoming me back.

Kim - I didn't know you'd lived here in Vancouver before. That's cool. I don't know many scrappers that live or have lived around this area.

Yay Rae! I love all your Taz pics & Photography in general! You are one talented lady! ;)

I am glad that you're enjoying scrapping again, Rae! I am enjoying leaving love on your pages! You make gorgeous pages, sweetie! Keep 'em coming!

Welcome back Rae! Hopefully things will stay on the calmer side for you from now on! I have always been able to recognize your pages based on your puppy love and I smile whenever I see them! I'm looking forward to seeing more! <3

YAY!!! That's so great to hear. And you definitely inspire people with your scrapping too!!!

Thx so much everyone for the warm welcome back! So happy to be hanging out with you all again and of course scrapping with these amazing kits :)

I'm sorry you had such a difficult year but it's good to hear you're back and enjoying SSD again! I love it here too!

Welcome back, Rae!! I'm so glad things are stabilizing for you and you have your scrapping mojo back! I love seeing your amazing LOs in the forum!!

Yay for a giant SSD love-fest!:wub: I'm so glad you're back, Rae. I didn't realize you had endured a medical trauma, but I'm so happy to see you come out of the other side. I understand what it's like to suffer a traumatic event and have it take a toll on your scrapping. That happened to me when I went through my divorce, and I didn't scrap a single page for almost three years. :crying: But...there's nothing quite like a comeback, so cheers to you and to everyone who gets knocked down but gets back up, dusts themselves off, and keeps going! Life is hard, guys, and this little hobby of ours is such a bright spot for so many of us. It - and we - deserve to be celebrated! Love to you all!

Welcome back! Glad to hear things have calmed down for your family! Pray things will continue to look up and can't wait to see what you scrap!

Rae HUGS. I am glad your mojo is back. I can relate, as the past 2 years have been very tough for us with hubby's health and I too wasn't scrapping much either. Here's to things being back on track for us both and we can get back into creating beautiful things!

Kiana - Hugs to you, hope your hubs is better now. My granddaughter will always have a struggle but things are moving forward and we will be there for her every step of the way. Isn't it crazy how you never know where life will lead you. 2018 was a terrible yr for the family but I think 2019 is soooo much better. And....I'm scrapping up a storm and loving it!!!! That is my therapy :)

Hubs is better, but he has end stage kidney failure that is our new normal that we deal with, dialysis, lots of doctor appts. etc.
This year is less stressful though as we've gotten a new routine.

Aww! I'm so happy you found your way back and I'm really loving your pages in the gallery! I fell away a few years ago as well because my divorce knocked me off my feet. It's always good to be back home :)

So well said, Kendall!!

Tammy....Kendall did say it so eloquently, didn't she? LIfe does suck sometimes but scrapbooking is definitely a bright spot (I always say it's cheaper than therapy LOL).
