Whenever I get unsure about my scrapping skills or my mojo drops a bit, I have a look through my gallery and read all the nice comments from you guys and I instantly feel better about myself.
Thanks for being there everyone!
 
Me too, I enjoy all the comment in the gallery, so I also want to thank everyone who take time to leave some love :)
 
Yay for encouragement in the gallery! It is always fun to see the amazing layouts and learn from others, encourage others and get some positive feedback as well!
 
It is a wonderful "pick me up" to be able to go to the gallery and read the sweet comments left there!

You guys are the best at spreading love in the gallery!! We have the sweetest ladies in town, most definitely! :wub:
 
I have to admit, comments make me happy---both leaving them and reading them!! I appreciate EVERYONE who comments in the gallery! :wub:

I have a little "rule" for myself that any time I go to upload a LO, I need to comment on 3 first. Usually I get sidetracked by more than 3 & forget that I originally went there to upload ;)

I have a bit of a rule myself to.
For every comment I receive, I write one back to the one I received it from + write a comment to two other people.
 
I love leaving love in the gallery, I just don't do it as much as I would like! Back in the "older" days, I actually had a "job" at another site leaving love! That was the BEST!!!!

I've found that when I start comparing myself to others scrapping style, I find myself not happy with my layouts. But when I scrap for me. When I am happy with my page and not trying to make my pages look like someone elses....I'm so much happier, and those have been some of my favorite pages yet!

I think we all have our own styles, our own strengths and things we enjoy doing or adding to our pages. When we focus on that, it comes out in the beautiful pages we create! And in the end, the pages we are creating are for those we love. I know my family doesn't care that I can't add paint to save my life, or that sometimes my pages look more cluttered than clustered! or that sometimes, a page just doesn't come together! They love to see the photos and remember the moments! Hope that helps encourage you!

That's a great idea!


When I was leaving love as a "job", we would go to the home page of the gallery, and open every layout on the first page in it's own tab. Then we would go through each tab and leave love on a layout. My one pet peeve, is seeing that 10 people have "looked" at a layout, but not left a single comment! I HATE that! It doesn't take a lot of time to say, "very sweet layout" "great journaling" "Love your clusters". It's much better when they are meaningful comments, but I'd take "neat" over nothing!

This is a great idea too! If I have time (read: not posting a layout all over digiland), I try to leave love on layouts when I upload one!

I totally agree. It doesn't take a lot of time to leave a nice comment. And it totally makes someones day.

Hey, I remember that! :p As a "words of affirmation" person, I looove reading comments, and I love leaving them as well. I hope you all are posting your layouts in the "Layout Lovin'" thread! I know there are a few of us regulars who post there, but I'd love to see that thread hoppin' every day! :thumbup:
