There are only 2.5 weeks left of the year. In that time, we are able to use the late Amber Shaw's products in the challenges and in the gallery. With that said, let's fill the gallery up with a new layout using one of Amber's products (perhaps one you've yet to use!). Come back here and share it with us. If you've used all your Amber products, share your last layout that you created with her products.

While sharing your layout here, please consider taking the time to comment on everyone's layouts. If commenting in the gallery isn't your thing, please think of the family that was left behind whether in your thoughts or prayers. This Christmas is going to be so hard on them and not a day has gone by that I don't think of her family and pray for them.

I'm really guilty of not using my Amber products because I don't want them to be "gone", even though I know she's gone forever. This is the last layout that I scrapped using her Winter Blah's kit



When I get home from my daughter's doctor appointment and picking the kids up from school, I'll be scrapping and using some of those Amber products that I've been hoarding and too sad to use.
 
I'm guilty of "saving" her products. I actually almost used one yesterday and then didn't because I just want to save it. But I know she would have wanted her products used. So I will make a point to use them more often ♥
 
I was just moving my Amber kits out of my SSD folder. It made me sad. I need to use at least one before the end of the month!

I'm seriously in denial that she's gone. I don't know if I'll ever move her products out of my SSD folder. When Eva died, it took me several years to move her products from the SSD folder. I have a hard time letting go. :hugs:
 
This is such a great idea! All I have left is a collab so I think I should prioritize a solo kit of hers.

I had scraplifted one of her layouts and used the kit Autumn Afternoon.


I will come back with a new layout with the collab kit I haven't used yet.

Wendy, Amber would love this. And she would love all these pages using her kits. I know what you mean about saving her products. I can't make myself unwrap her notebook or use her Scents in my warmer. I don't want her to be gone.
 
I played. :) I may have gotten a bit teary eyed. I miss her gorgeous spirit and beautiful designs. I have a few collabs and a couple of solos I will try to play with before the end of the year.

I hope we can honor her, her legacy one more time these last few weeks of December....that was my goal anyways.

And yes, I may have cried as I looked at these layouts. Like I said, her family has been on my heart these past few weeks. Thank you for sharing and honoring her legacy with me! :wub:
 
I've never used In My Dreams before. It's a beautiful collection. I'm glad I got it. But today I sat down and realized it was the perfect collection to use to scrap my Hygge Day #1 - Breathe Challenge!

 
This is fantastic. I still have 4 collections left to use.

Will be trying to create a page using them.

As for now, here are two pages I made a whole 12-page scrapbook. But I never posted the other 10 pages. As I didn't want to translate the journaling into English. OTL

Oh I love them!! Post them and don't worry about translating them!! There have been things posted in the gallery before that haven't been translated. It's always nice to get inspiration regardless of a language barrier! :wub:

You should post them, Maddie. You're not obliged in any way to have to translate your journalling too. ;)
 
I wish so badly she could have known just how far she reached and touched my life.
I am dissapointed I can't seem to scrap a decent page with her kit.

While we never got to tell her to her face, I'm fairly certain words weren't necessary. I think our purchases told her week after week, especially as our layouts flooded the gallery with her beautiful creations.

And as far as you not being able to scrap a decent page, I think this month's calendar page is stunning! It's beautiful, elegant and captures Amber's essence :wub:

I was just sorting kits of her's too. :( I have ONE that I haven't used yet- better get on that! This is the last layout I made: Worlds: Canada Collab with Flergs- I loved & used ALL their Disney & other collabs. So sad to move those out of the SDD folder :(

Always thought I had to. For example for the bingo prompts or special occasions where there's a specific topic ��
Usually I turn off the journal if there's any on my pages.

I'm honestly so sad that we won't be able to use her creations here anymore. My personal albums will still be filled with her designs :) <3

No, you don't. If there is specific bingo prompts for specific topic, you can just include a brief explanation about it on your credit. :D
 
I was so excited when the kids' school chose to put on "Peter Pan" because I had remembered Amber Shaw & Studio Flergs "BIM Neverland".
I've had fun in my personal albums creating pages with this kit. Here's one I felt was safe to share (someone must have a easier tip for blurring faces in PSE16 -blur tool is taking me forever)

Amber was one of my favorites from here! She certainly is still very much missed!
The pages you all have been creating are beautiful! :wub:
