Purchase made last night now gone from store????

I bought a kit by RiverR and MeganM last night/early am. I went to download the preview today and no image which usually means its gone. I looked through their stores and it's not there. I'm elated that I grabbed it (little spooky weird but I'll manage)
My question is do the designers usually have a "clean out/farewell opportunity or event?

What is the process on that?
 
Funny you should ask right now...I've seen some designer previews on Instagram today saying that Going, Going, Gone is happening this weekend. It's a big sale where all the designers retire products. It's usually held about once a year, but it can vary. I don't know if I'm understanding the technical side of the shop correctly, but maybe the kit you bought was moved into a special GGG category and then hidden until tomorrow.

Now THAT would make sense. I guess I need to get hip to the Instagrams as well ( inside joke that old ppl add s to everything ie Wal-Marts )
 
I think Rachel is right, I just searched for something that I know in in the going going gone from what other designers have shared peeks of and it came back as product unavailable. I'm excited to see what is going on sale!! but also scared as my wishlist is a big one this year. :O :D
 
They are correct. Going, Going, Gone is this weekend. If the kit is retiring, then it disappears from the shoppe and is put in a special category for the sale. That could be the reason you aren't seeing it. Just make sure you download the folder preview this weekend. :)
