QOTD: School holiday. Are your kids still on school holiday? (01/04)

Yesterday was my first day back at work after Christmas break.
Kids here are still on school holiday (Christmas break) until the 8th.
It makes such a difference getting to work or back home. There is way less traffic during rush hour.

How is it in your part of the world? Are your kids still on school holiday or are they back at school/back in their routine?

Mine went back today (wednesday) but Gemma was running a low fever so she had to stay home and was DEVASTATED. I love that my kids love school, haha

My son has gone back to school on the 2nd. Yep, only a holiday on the 1st, so it was only a 3-days weekend holiday for us.

Tomorrow my middle school kid goes back to school. But my high school kid goes back to school on Monday.

Yep. 26th will be the last day of school, then we'll have the whole February off because of the Chinese New Year and school mid-year holiday, before going back to school for the 2nd semester in March.
We also only had 25th & 26th Dec for Christmas holiday, just because he is in an international school. All others went to school normally those days.

It is winter here and mine went back to school yesterday. He had to go back, he was getting cabin fever and missed his friends.

Yes, my daughter is on break until next Monday (and then has the following Monday off for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day).

I had last week off work but not this week so both kids are staying with my parents (and driving them crazy, I'm sure).

I need to find a nonelated babysitter for them ASAP.

They went back yesterday; however, the superintendent called last night and said school was canceled today and tomorrow due to in-climate weather. Four day weekend--party!

We went back on the 2nd. Between New Years, MLK Jr Day, and 2 teacher workdays we only have 1 full week of school in our first 5 weeks back. Today we're out for snow, and there's a chance of more on Monday, which could mean we don't have any full weeks for the first 5.

Our kids go back on monday. It has been a very cold Christmas break and I might be going slowly crazy. If I hear spongebob one more time I may throw the tv away :O

We are heading home to Idaho early tomorrow morning. We all can't wait to be there, but are really going to miss our family here in So Cal. My high-schooler goes back to school on Monday and starts finals on Friday. My college student goes back on the 16th.

Mine headed back yesterday and we are all glad to be getting back into a routine again! Breaks are nice but they tend to drive us crazy if they're too long!
