Well SSD - What do you think??

I'm not sure all of those who know but behind the scenes we've often joked that purple is a color to stay away from because sometimes it seems as though kits that use purple do really bad sales wise (I don't think this is the case as much anymore but who knows haha)

Are you a fan?
 
Hahaha when I first saw this I thought about our inside joke and was "well... maybe we were wrong". LOL

But even not enjoying to work with too much purple, a little bit of purple here and there is always welcome! And I love that color. :)
 
Purple is my FAVE, so I absolutely love Pantone's choice for this year. And, I don't think that thing about purple not selling is true at all . . . at least not anymore. Goooooo purple!! :D
 
They always say that in quilting, too. Nobody ever works with purple lol. Its not my fave color or anything but I do like it and personally I would not have a problem buying a kit with purple in it or heavily purple. If I like it, I like it :)
 
One of my fave things about the new year is the unveiling of the Pantone Color of the Year. I have mixed feelings about this choice though! I like the words that surround the color more than the color itself! Haha.

I appreciate the references to cosmos and unconventional ways, and to higher level potential. But in some ways I feel like it's a stretch, where most of the time the color is very organic and meaningful... this one seems like it's really reaching. But maybe that's just what we need in today's world... and with the symbolism of violet being attached to rights movements, feminism, and other minority rights initiatives, I think it can grow on me.

I'm interested to see the reaction to it.
 
I agree- I think this color is way better than some in years past. I used to love purple, now I'm more into warmer colors... but this is a pretty shade.
 
Purple is not my favorite color, but let's be real honest - I'd buy a KCB kit in any color!
 
I like dark purples more than lighter purples.
I don't get the whole Pantone thing no matter the color. *shrugs*
 
I love designing with purple, and I never think it flops. I never understood this "purple is cursed" myth haha!
 
Purple is my favorite color. I loved it so much it was the theme of our wedding almost 20-years ago!! This makes me happy! Lots of purple goodies coming in 2018!!!

It's a beautiful colour choice! I always love how kits with purple turn out so pretty!
 
I love purple! This is one of my favorite Colors of the Year.

By the time she was 5 or so, Lauren was anti-pink. There are so many beautiful pink kits in the store, but I don't usually get to use them. I'm hoping that purple is the new pink for designing feminine kits!
 
I LOVE purple, but we rarely wear it, so I don't scrap with it so much. But if Kristin is going to start using it more, I will start buying purple clothes for all the family.
 
The school colors for our city are purple and gold, so I have to like it. :) My favorite color is black which I've grown to believe means that I like all colors, so it's all good for me.
 
I like purple, it's one of my favorite colors! Although I tend to prefer the color on the more red end of the spectrum, not as blue-ish as the Pantone color. But when it comes to scrapping with it I only like it as an accent in a kit... too much purple and it's like... ew. I'd love purple hair, though!!! :wub:

LOVE it! Purple is my favorite color too! I don't know about that curse- as I buy almost anything with purple in it! Purple & teal/turquoise- SOLD! lol! Maybe I'm the only one.... ;)
