Ideas for printed photos (when you no longer want them on your wall)

So what do you all do with family pictures, school pictures and such that you've had on your walls, when you're done with them? The 4x6 ones are easy, but the 5x7, 8x10 and larger ones, I'm stuck with what to do with them lol - I don't want them up anymore (they're either outdated or just need switching out), but I don't want to throw them out either ...

Ideas?

That's an idea ... saves on the storage lol I have them all scanned, I can't think of throwing them out (although my MIL got us a bigger than life-size canvas that I hate that will probably go in the garbage lol)

I either keep them in the frame, or toss them in a shoe box. If they are too big for the shoebox I keep them in an old photo envelope when I picked them up from the printer.

I can't throw out photos. It just feels wrong to me, LOL. I have a photo album for all my old wall photos, class photos, some enlargements from my childhood, etc. I think it's called a magnetic album? It's the kind that's a little larger than 8x10, and the clear page protectors peel back so you can put any combination of photos on the page, no specific pockets for each size. (There's an older version of these from our childhood that weren't archival and ruined photos, but the newer ones are fine. I'm paranoid enough to make sure that the ones I buy say that they're archival or photo safe, but I think all of them are now whether or not they say it.)

Another thing I've done sometimes is to mount the photos on 12x12 cardstock and then put them into the appropriate year's scrapbook. I hope you can find a solution that works for you!

I have them in a sleeve that they originally came in in my filing cabinet. I never got around to putting some of the walls even. These days I rarely put people pictures on the walls. I prefer other forms of art.
