February 2017 SSD Bingo Challenge: #6 Scrap a celebration - I am glad that Grace made this kit! It's perfect to scrap the Chinese New Year celebration my son had in his school.


#4 Alphabets Thick and chunky - I love thick and chunky alphabets! They are a great of filling up the page.
 
#16 - Pour your heart out. Focus on journalling.

I used to include a ton of journalling on my pages. With life so busy lately I seem to have stopped doing it. It was therapeutic today to get back into it again, and it makes me excited to carry it on in future pages.

#11 - Guilty pleasures. There's something about eating fish & chips at the beach - its not the healthiest meal but its a simple thing to do that we all enjoy.

I did #19: Childhood Memories

I don't have a lot of photos scanned but once in awhile I come across one that I had scanned long ago that pulls at my heartstrings and this is one of those! I knew when I found it I wanted to make a page about my grandpa and my memories of him in my childhood.

My 10 year old received his own camera this past fall and has developed a real love for the art of photography. We have such a fantastic time "wasting" several hours each month, taking long ambling walks and just shooting whatever strikes our fancy. It is wonderful time spent together... doing lots of nothing much, but enjoying our surroundings and each other's company.

#8 photography challenge: selective coloring - here I made the photo B&W and only kept the colors on my face, hair and several little lanterns.
 
#16 Pour your heart out, focus on journaling... this prompt is just the push I needed to document the events of this day... I pray I don't have to do more pages like this.

 
#10: Sun, Moon &/or Stars. The moon and stars are great symbols for sleepy pages. I loved using those elements and the b/w photo conversion to illustrate the sleepy theme on this page:

 
#20 - what brings you joy

One of the things that brings me joy is the fact my smile brings joy to other people so I keep on smiling and taking selfies of it!



#10 - sun, moon and/or stars
It's fun to use moon and stars on sleepy pages even though this photo wasn't a night shot, it was rather an afternoon nap but I love it :)


#21 - what gives you butterflies
Well, my husband gives me butterflies whenever he's being affectionate and kind.



#17 - use at least 5 photos
I find pocket pages to be the easiest way to add "many" photos to a page that looks neat.

February Bingo Challenge #6 - Scrap a celebration.

We don't know his exact date of birth, so we 'celebrate' his birthday on the day he came to live with us.

 
I have done my 1st layout here! I dont have many kits I can use in this gallery (I have found the free area and a blog train) so I am using these until I can restock my $$ for digi scrapping this month :)

I always thought this thread was for sugar babes only - does this mean that we can all post in this thread? I was struggling with one of the prompts and just came up with a good one so i thought it would be nice if there was a way to share the idea with others in case they're stuck on the same prompt...

Yes! You are always welcome to post your own completed layouts for the bingo challenges on these weekly threads.
We, the babes, basically made our layouts and posted on these threads ahead of time to help to give inspiration, but it doesn't mean that you can't post here.
