Oh Val...hugs and strength sent your way. A marriage ending is never easy, no matter what the reason or situation. You need to move forward, find your happiness wherever it may be. I noticed you weren't around but just thought you were busy with summer stuff. Its hard to be stuck in the house together but hopefully things will progress without too much antagonism and drama. Keep busy, plan for your future and focus on what you want.

I'm super new here, and don't want to assume that I know you. But I did want to say that I really admire your courage and openness. We've all made decisions that we wish we hadn't. Everyone looks at situations from the outside-not knowing the whole picture & no one can judge who you are or what you've done because they aren't you. It sounds like you are on a great (long overdue) road to healing and growth.

I went through a divorce a few years back. It was hard even though I chose to leave and end it because I was not happy. Doesn't make it any easier. I then chose to focus on myself and my son and learning who I was in this new life. I took a while, but I am much happier and much better at knowing what I need now in my relationship. Cheating sucks, yes, but everyone makes mistakes. You owned up to it, that's all you can do. Good luck.
