I love to travel, a lot. I want to know your top 10 favorite places you have been to. I am curious if a few places show up on multiple lists, might be a good place to add to my need to see list then. Here's mine (not in any particular order):

3. St Martin/St Marteen
4. Charleston, SC
5. Hampton Roads area, VA
6. Duluth, MN
7. Moab, UT
8. San Diego, CA

Looks like I need to see British Columbia. The parts of Canada I have been to look almost exactly like where I am from since I all I have done is go to an hour or so into the Manitoba and Sask. Also, Keystone is actually South Dakota, but North Dakota has many lovely places, too.

Mackinac Island is high on my need to see list. I have never been to MI and it looks beautiful. My uncle lives in the Charlotte/Ashville region. I need to go see him, it looks beautiful. All I have done in NC is drive through with a motel stay in Fayetteville.

Sounds like you are an island girl, Marie. I have only been to numbers 6, 7 and 8 on your list.

oops, fixed that! BC is gorgeous and totally different from saskatchewan and manitoba for sure!

I love to travel, although I don't get to travel as much as I'd like to.
But I live in Europe, so I can travel to other countries pretty easy. The Netherlands is so small, you can drive from north to south in about 2,5 to 3 hours, LOL.

1: Florida
2: Curacao (my grandmother and father were born there)
3: Egypt (Cairo, Luxor, Hurghada)
4: France (Disneyland Paris, Normandy, Cote D'Azur)
5: Crete (Samaria Gorge is beautiful!)
6: Czech Republic (Prague, Northern mountains)
7: London
8: Portugal (Algarve)
9: Germany
10: Monaco

I have not traveled enough to have a Top 10 List but I can say that I have loved Nashville every time I've been, Chicago is right in my backyard and always full of fun things to do & see, and I can't wait to get back to Rocky Mountain National Park & Fort Collins, CO.

I want to travel to Europe so much, I have barely left the US. Germany & the Czech Republic are at the top of my list though.

1. Orlando, FL

My list is short..... I really don't get out much. My "been to" list is as follows
1. Boston MA
2. Salem MA (where I am from)
3. Lynn MA (where I lived before moving to Canada)
4. Maine (i've been all over the state over the years)
5. NH (same as Maine, over the years I have been all over it)
6. New York City (I believe a trip to NYC should be on everyone's bucketlist!!)
7. Lancaster, PA (meh, I'd have more to say if I had more time to explore, was only there less than 24 hours)
8. Nova Scotia (I love "staycations" so we've been all over our home province (with lots more to still explore) there's not lots to "do" per-say, but if you are into LOTS of beautiful scenery, some place that's quiet and relaxing, with unique artistry it is a wonderful place to visit ... but only in the summer.... most of what is here is seasonal! Oh and there are LOADS of vineyards ;)

In no particular order... except #1... That's definitely the trip of a lifetime!
1. Bora Bora (Morea is beautiful, too)
2. Victoria BC (Canada)
3. Istambul (Turkey)
4. Barcelona (or anywhere in Spain, really... all of Spain is beautiful, but Barcelona is my favorite)
5. Dubrovnic (Croatia)
6. St. Maarten/St. Martin (I prefer to eat on the French side but stay in amenities on the Dutch side of the island)
7. Egypt (Especially Aswan-Luxor, take a cruise on the Nile, it's well worth it!)
8. Mallorca (I mentioned Spain already, but it deserves a second mention. Mallorca has a very different feel than mainland Spain)
9. Venice (Italy)
10. New Orleans

Hmmm...this was easier than I thought it would be. I don't think of myself as having travelled a lot, but in our pre-kids days (12+ years ago) I guess we did a lot more than we do these days.

1. Boston, MA
2. Williamsburg, VA
3. San Francisco, CA
4. London, England
5. Edinburgh, Scottland
6. Montreal, Canada
7. Orlando, FL
8. Home-Northern VA
9. Savannah, GA
10. Where I grew up-Connecticut

I might only just be able to fill a top 10 list...if I even can. I guess if I split up parts of the same trip I almost certainly can. Here, let me try!

1. Big Island, HI
2. Wilmington, NC
3. Charleston, SC
4. Duluth, MN
5. Sevilla, Spain
6. Venice, Italy
7. San Diego, CA
8. Rapid City, SD (the whole Black Hills area)
9. Durham/Chapel Hill, NC
10. Las Vegas, NV

That PRETTY much rounds out most of the places I've visited where I actually...spent any amount of time there. My list of places TO visit is incredibly long.
Oooh, actually. We also visited Kronberg, Germany. And Cologne (although we didn't venture far from the train station there because we were afraid to get lost - it was just my sister & I alone there!).

1. Alaska
I know a lot of people cruise up there, and that sounds like it could be fun if you do a lot of excursions. I'm a destination traveler though. I have lived there and I go as often as i can. I love to do something different every time I'm there.
2. Seattle
I've lived there as well...still one of my most favorite cities and I'd love to move back someday.
3. San Francisco
I grew up near the city and there is nothing like it!
4. Santa Cruz
My hometown. Love the beach and also the redwoods are close by.
5. Austria
6. Germany
7. Switzerland
8. Greece
9. New York
10. Lake Tahoe

I've never taken a tropical vacation to just lay around and relax. That might be fun to do sometime, but I tend to get very bored and have to be busy!

Ummm tropical vacation doesn't always mean laying around and relax. I know in Bali they have some activities like parasailing, river rafting, bungee-jumping, banana-boating, jetskiing, snorkeling, diving and many more, Debra.
