Do You Think If We Met

I was thinking this the other day. Like many had said, I'd probably recognize their kid/s before recognizing the scrapper. Some I think I might recognize if they do a lot of all about me pages.

I get stopped and recognized by people from my local groups all of the time. My mom hates going anywhere with me and my husband just finds it funny.

Now I think I would recognize some of you that I have seen for a long time. Maybe. lol! What would probably happen is I would recognize you and stare at you creepily as I run through all of the ways that I could know you trying to figure out WHY I am recognizing you. (Trust me, it happens often.)

I would probably recognize almost everyone I interact with regularly and their kids haha

Isn't that fun? :) I love how I can instantly know which page belongs to a certain scrapper because I recognize the kiddos or hubby.

Hahahaha this made me think of you, I always know your daughter straight away. I recognize a lot of people's kids. I agree it would be easier to recognize the kids first, but I think I would know a lot of you if I ran into you in person.

That said, who is it that lives near me? I think Krystal....nope just looked and she is not close to Houston. No chance of running into her then! :p:hugs::D

I definitely recognize people's pages by their kids. Not too many people on here from Canada either though. That and even if people are also from Canada doesn't put them anywhere close.

That's a great question! I think I would recognize a lot of you - but it would take me awhile to place why I recognized you!!

I would be more likely to recognize someone I'm friends with on fb and posts a lot of pics. Or that I've known a long time. Or that I've met before. :D

But I probably wouldn't approach you because I'd have convinced myself that you would have no clue who I am. :o

First off, Jacinda looks just like her avatar having met her in person.

I'm lucky to be able to meet up with fellow scrappers all the time so don't think twice about it anymore. But I remember the first time it was a little scary wondering if they would like me.

Well, is VERY UNLIKELY for me to bump into any of you... LOL
But some years ago when I travel to the US used to post it on the forums and I`ve met a couple of digi friends.

Also this one time (at band camp... LOL)... no seriously I went to the Craft and Hobby Association Show in Chicago a few years ago and I met a few scrappers.

Funny story... I was talking to someone in a stand and at some point I said that I do digital scrapbooking and a very tall and very blond lady told me "Do you do digi?" and when I saw the name in the name tag I literally screamed... I know you, I know you... because she was a digi friend from another forum.

Also, Traci's not kidding about knowing kids. She noticed that my daughter and Juli's really do resemble each other. (Before we even thought of it)

I you ever see me, and I don't see you, and you don't approach me, me and you will have some problems. :D

until you find out they live in a small town in the middle of nowhere and went to school with your cousins ;) hahahaha

I think I'd recognize quite a few from here. Definitely wouldn't expect it though so I'd probably be too afraid to be wrong to dare to say hi.

I hope that I would - but yes I think I would be afraid I'd be wrong too and a little shy so I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to just say hi

My husband has been hoping for years that someone would randomly come up to me and ask if I'm Nettio. Hasn't happened yet. :D

I think I'd recognize people but only if I expected them in that context, like if I knew they lived in the area or were visiting or something. If I just randomly saw someone who looked like say, Jacinda, I'm probably not going to assume it's her.

I think I would recognize a lot of people that I interact with or that is pretty active. I agree I would know their kids right off the bat. I don't think anyone lives that close to me though. I have some that are upstate or the state over haha.

I believe I'd recognize them. The question would be if I'd actually say something to them. Yet, I'm infinitely nosy so I'd probably have to find out lol!

If anyone sees me, please say hi!

By the way, my face looks the same however my butt will surprise you. :D :D :D

I would not. I probably would overlook you and think "that person looks familiar" but wouldn't be able to place it until MUCH later. I've overlooked my doctor, and acquaintances from our church. I'm sure I'll do the same with my digi-friends

Well the closest to me is our very own Willemijne, we were even in the exact same place once... but it was a week apart lol.

I think I'd know faces but not sure if I'd just go up and say Hi. But I'd probably force myself too or I'd regret it. Being shy really sucks :(

I am so awful at recognizing people. I have been in a crowded room, looked straight at my best friend and didn't see her! LOL!
That being said, I was at Disney California Adventure last month and randomly ran into Katie the Scrapbooklady (I had met her before). It was so funny-we both looked at each other like, "I know you, right?!"
I love meeting people I know online when they're here at Disneyland!

Okay, just out of curiosity, are any of you from SC? Pretty sure I'm the only one, but I have this delusional hope that one day I'll meet someone in real life who loves to digi-scrap, and we can have fun "crop nights" and meet-ups like I've seen some of you do. That would be so awesome! :)
