Confession 3.0 (S/O - Something you love, others think odd)

Time to flip the table... what are some things that you love and people look at you like you are crazy!

I love being called for Jury Duty! I've been called three times and only the last time did I actually have to report. I was selected and it was so awesome! The judge was super cool - he was a huge Green Bay Packer fan - his uncle was one of the original team members... he had some really priceless collectables in his chambers. It was cool to see things "live" instead of through studio magic... the lawyers were nervous... and you have to love a case that involved the get away vehicle a John Deere tractor.

Another love is that I love the smell of new tires... :o That is the only way my hubby gets me to go to Mills Fleet Farm.
 
I sat on a juror panel for two weeks back when Mattie was about a year old. The process really was quite interesting. The only part I hate is having to drive downtown. Parking is the worst!
 
Filing things. Like complete overhaul organizational systems and their upkeep.

And pickle and cheese sandwiches (so weird I know I have liked them since I was a kid )

Besides of Digital Scrapbooking?? (Take in mind that I´m the only digital scrapbooker in my Country... hehehehe)

Snakes... I love them!
Have dozens of pictures holding them
I extend my love to some lizzards
 
I love Mondays. I thrive on routine and schedules so the weekends, even when they're nice, kind of throw me for a loop.
 
Laundry and dish washing, I love everything with antibac, lemon, soap! Folding the laundry, well that's a different story.
 
Gain laundry detergent smell
while I can admit he's an asshat, I'm obsessed with Kanye West (not his dumb wife). I think it's more shock value than anything else

Um...is there anything I love that people might find odd? Let's see...
I love the smell that comes when you blow out a burning candle or burning match stick.
I love the smell of fresh latex paint (like when you paint your walls)
Oh, I'm a bit embarrassed to confess but I LOVE the sensation I get when I use cotton swabs (q-tips) to clean my ears *blush*
I like touching rounded angles too lol (like those on your pillows)
I have a phobia of bugs (flying, crawling, all kinds) but when there's a bug near me and I go nuts, I like asking someone NOT to kill it but rather take it out. It's important for me to know the thing didn't get hurt.
 
I love the smell of new books.

I also love peeling sunburned skin off me and/or my kids.

LET'S RISE UP IN OUR WEIRDNESS, MY PEOPLE! BE PROUD! BE FREE! BE WEIRD!

One of my besties is this way...the bigger the piece, the better. She's also a pimple popper, too. She once popped a pimple I had in my ear that was bugging the heck out of me. It splattered in her face and it didn't gross her out at all. I gagged at the thought of it hitting my face. :D

Eeeewwwwwww!! I cannot handle the thought of popping zits on other people! *Shudder*

I have some favorites in music that people thing are weird. Like . . . I LOVE LOVE LOVE James Taylor. Who's that, you say? Well, look him up. Chances are you knows some of his songs. But, he's been around forever, so people think I'm kind of young to love him like I do. He just makes me happy.
 
World War II documentaries, and Presidental documentaries. Love them! Almost any war documentary that has to do with U.S. History.

Once Upon a Time, I don't know why everyone else isn't obsessed with this show & Hook!'
 
Keeping Up With the Kardashians!

I don't know why but I love it. I think maybe because I come from a family of three sisters so I relate to the relationship between the three oldest siblings. Less so to the being filthy rich part of it, haha.
 
Sitting by the fireplace - ALL YEAR LONG!! We live in Texas and there are really only a few legit days a year where I should have the fireplace going - but I love it. It's the most relaxing thing ever to me. I just sit there and space out - in the dead of a Texas summer. LOVE.
 
Laundry. I feel a bit sad when I don't have any dirty clothes in the hamper. I love folding it, too. Laundry isn't done until it's folded and put away.
 
I enjoy peeling sunburnt skin off of anyone. One time hubby burnt the top of his feet and I so wanted to pull it off in sheets! This was when we were dating and he wasn't quite so thrilled about the idea! LOL
I also enjoy looking/touching loose teeth. Blake got annoyed me with always asking if I could check his loose tooth! LOL
Love the smell of burning leaves.
Reality tv junky - mainly anything on E! or Bravo. Looking forward to RHOBH, Total Divas and Just Jillian tonight! LOL

Oh my gosh, I LOVE Total Divas! When Adam was in New Orleans for work, several of them were staying at the same hotel as he was. He was trying to explain to his coworkers who they were and how he recognized them from a show that I watch. I don't even care about WWE but I find the show fascinating. I also used to watch Tough Enough back in the day - one of the winners went to my university. :D

YES!!! I so love Bravo and we don't get it - but when at a hotel, Bravo is the first thing I turn into... even some on TLC, I'll watch...

I'm a pimple popper - I used to do that all the time to them on hubby's back when we were dating - now he has no pimples... :glare: I'll just wait until J is older... :D
 
Creepy crawlies... including spiders. If I can catch it, I will pick a cockroach up by its antennae and take it outside rather than kill it.
 
I love formatting Word documents. Like seriously love it. A beautiful document makes me happy.

I have a heated mattress pad and in the winter I love the moment where I slip into my toasty warm bed. Ahhh!

I love folding towels and neatly stacking them in my linen closet. I don't like folding anything else though!
 
The Dentist!! I hate going to the hospital for any kind of needle.... I will cry and kick and scream like a child BEFORE they even get a needle near me (I have a very amusing story about this).... but the big ass needle the dentist sticks in the roof of my mouth.... BRING IT ON!!! lol :p :D

This! I love seeing my linen closets neat & tidy, so I always fold them uniformly. My sisters don't care though, so when it's their turn to do it, the linens end up looking jumbled up. I'd usually fix them up because I LOVE seeing neatly folded linens.

I love waxing my legs. Body hair grosses me out, so I wax/shave/tweeze every hair that is socially acceptable to do so. I can usually do most of it at home myself these days, but there are still a couple of areas (cough cough) that only professionals should do.

But seriously, my tweezers and waxing supplies are my besties.
 
I love mopping floor (I have to do it every day!), laundry and pressing the clothes. I like them neat and tidy.
