What's the last book/books you finished?
This one was a fun and light book. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the mood for a quick read.

I was about half-way through this one when my library loan expired. It just became available again so I'm going to start where I left off...

I finished the first four books in The Fairyland Series. I cannot recommend this enough if you love middle grade fiction. They are wonderful...the 3rd book wasn't as good as the rest but the fourth one was outstanding...can't wait for the next one to be out.
I finished Assassin's Quest by Robin Hobb - it was an okay series. The last book was too repetitive and had a weird ending but just okay.
Dangerous Liaisons by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos it was good

Sacred Hearts by Sarah Dunant - historical fiction
- on Audible..I'm about 30% in and it's good...loving all the allusions to his other books. The narrator isn't the best but the story is good.

The Girl Who Ruled Fairyland - For a Little While (Fairyland #0.5)
by Catherynne M. Valente Short Novella that I'm probably going to read tomorrow night while DD is at dance.
Next on Audible - The Battle of the Labyrinth (Percy Jackson and the Olympians #4)
by Rick Riordan - I was reading these with my son but he's discovered audiobooks and has raced ahead of me lol
These are okay...I think for their target audience they are wonderful.

This week:
Worst book ever - this dumb girl makes the same mistakes over and over and over again. I'm deleting it before my teenager reads it. I want my money and the hours I spent reading it back!
Still plugging away at Armada - on Chapter 13! I really like it.
I'm only a few chapters in but so far so good! The writing is superb.
This is part of my attempt to read the Newberry Honors/Award winners.
Don't forget to tell us if you liked the book! I'll add it to my queue (that I check every morning). If it drops in price I'll report back. I just need to write down who recommended them
