QOTD - End of Year Projects - 12.28.15

Do you have any regular end-of-the-year routines? Whether that's organization-wise, scrap-wise, or life-wise, is there anything that you find yourself doing at the end of each calendar year?

I need to finish editing my daily pictures and get them all backed up.

I also have eleven weeks of PL to finish. Baby T is due at the end of January... I will be done with 2015 PL by then. lol.

I used to have some end of the year routines, both scrapping and not, but as life has gotten busier they've faded away. In the realm of reality, my current end of the year goals are to finish organizing my 2015 photos (the one and only scrapelated goal I've stayed on top of this year) and do a big toy clean out with the kids.

There are a lot more I'd like to accomplish, but I won't. They're things like finishing my 2015 album and PL pages...I'll get them done eventually, but no time soon.

Wow-I can't believe you're that close to your due date already! So exciting!

I've always liked to scrap a year in review page, with one photo that highlights that month, and a small journal space for the details. We'll see if I get to that this year or not!

I always tell myself I will do something like a review page or finish up an album for the year but it never happens. One year runs into another...

Great question. I seem to spend this last week getting calendars organized for the new year, beginning to declutter, and setting goals for the new year.

I forgot about that, but I also spend this week getting the family's calendar, my planner, and my Project Life notebook ready for the new year.

I usually spend the last week of the year finishing... So far I have finished my DD album and my Jan-May scrapbook. I am working on finishing up my One Little Word assignments and then I'll finish up my PL album (I have one week that needs a journal card filled out, and then the entry and exit pages need to be finished).

I try to have my new planner all set up by the new year so that's usually the last week of December. I try to transfer all the little info I need to keep from the past year into the new one. That's about it.

I'd love to get more done but it never happens.

I'm gonna TRY to scrap this "year in Review"-Page, but at the moment, I'm too lazy to start looking at pictures... I hope that will change after New Year's Eve, when real life will start intruding anyway.
