You didn't miss mine, because we don't send cards. We call or skype family, and say Merry Christmas to friends on facebook. We're pretty casual here

Jacinda, you're probably in the majority! Plus it's one less thing to stress about ... but with that said, I still love doing it! I very much enjoy giving and receiving cards.

I haven't done this year's yet but I realized I never got to share last year's since it was a joint New Years/Baby announcement card. Never mind that he was 6 months old at that point. This year we're doing an actual Christmas card so I need to get on it.

I also can't get over how little he looks - he looks SO different now!

This might be something I give up this year I love doing them but it's such a crazy time. So, so far, nothing's been made but I could still get them out or I just post the card on Facebook and share it with everyone :-/

I have mine picked out, but my photographer is taking forever to get my pics back to me... Hopefully I'll have them off to the printer this weekend. Cards are one of my favorite parts of Christmas!

I just ordered mine. By the time I get them addressed it will probably be New Years. Maybe I should start typing up labels right now and then I can just slap them on when they get here.

I had quite the time getting this picture done because we have been going every which way the last couple of weeks or the weather was terrible. Today we had the normal Texas problem of "MOM IT'S SO SUNNY, I CAN'T SEE"! But it is done!!

So, I bought this template/design from Etsy fully intending to have double sided cards but when I went to the place where I usually print cards, they were having a Black Friday sale for 50% off holiday cards which are only 1 sided but they were only 30 cents each!! And the alternative was paying $1.50+ each and I just could not pass up a deal like that, so I had to say goodbye to the back side of my cards. AND then I forgot to add our names to the front side, so I'm hand writing our names on them because I'm classy like that!

I'll show both sides anyway, since I'm still kind of mourning the back side. (But 30 cents a card?! Seriously.)

And the cute back:

Those are super cute Sara! I would have ordered both and put them together in the envelope. They are adorbs!!!

I gave up on getting a photo of my kids together and went with vacation photos in a Walgreens template. Then forgot to pick them up today. I should have just done Happy 2016 cards because who knows when I'll actually get them out in the mail.

I'd print both sides at 30c each then glue them together.

Great cards! We stopped sending them a few years ago. I started feeling like I could either do calendars with all of the cousins for the extended family or send cards, and calendars won. If I'm lucky I'll get a decent photo before the end of the year and just share it on FB.

I like the idea of signing your name to your cards, it add a nice personal touch! I wouldn't feel bad about it at all. Your cards are super cute!

Finally got them done & ordered! I missed out on Vistaprint's 60% off sale last week but I still got them at 50% off this week. I call 50 double-sided cards + envelopes for under $30 a win! The back is just a few sentences abt each kid.

Now to keep it under $30, I had to choose El Cheapo shipping with an ETA of December 24th. Let's hope they are a little faster than that to arrive... although I will feel no shame in mailing out Christmas cards on Christmas Eve, either.
