just keep your file layered and you can always make little changes here and there later on? that way if things change throughout these next few days with where your style is headed you can just make those modifications
Give yourself a time limit (no more than an hour). Then be done with it for a couple of days. Like KCB said, you can always go back and tweak if it really bothers you, but my guess is that once you get a few pages under your belt, that first page won't bother you quite so much.
Overthinking will make you stall out really quickly on DD. Trust your scrap gut!
Have you made a cover and back page? I find I can decorate those freely... if you know what you want for the beginning and end, the stuff in the middle gets a Lil easier! Good luck!
I'm so glad I'm not alone. I have the same problem with mini albums like that, I can do a big old 12x12 layout no problem but give me a tiny little space and I'll mess with it for days!!
