I am so impressed with how many of y'all made blackout on this month's challenges. I was so proud of my 9... and then I saw card after card ALL FILLED IN. :p

Just a few more minutes until we get February's card! Woot!
 
:wub: i think it just means i need a life lol 9 layouts is nothing to sneeze at either! there were so many fun prompts!
 
I wanted to try for all of them but only got as far as 9 layouts. What I wanted to scrap just didn't fit in with the card. I still ended up doing 22 layouts in total for the month (included the 9 on the card) so I'm happy with that.
 
Yes, seriously impressive! I did 7 of a pattern, then I hit a scrapping slump and couldn't manage to get started on the one in my pattern that wasn't inspiring me. (It was a great challenge, but I couldn't do it as part of PL and that's what I felt like scrapping.) Since I knew there'd be a sale this month, I threw in the towel and didn't finish. Can't wait to get started on Feb's card!
 
i only filled a whole row + 3 random squares, but since i haven't done any challenges in over 3 years that's a huge accomplishment in itself. lol
 
I struggled with some of the challenges but managed to finish them off today... :)

Feb should be fun along with SSD's birthday celebration, bring it on! :w00t:
 
I did 23 out of 24 in the first 2-3 weeks... that last LO however took me forever to get around to!

I doubt I'll be doing a black out this month - I've got to go back to work on Tuesday after 6.5 weeks holiday, so way less scrapping time for me unfortunately :(.
 
I missed 1 LO as one of my kids slept out last night so I couldn't take a family portrait (yes I left it late but I thought I could do it, I was wrong LOL)

I've already done 3 for February as I used the peek from the newsletter to get started :D
 
I'm sad that I won't be able to do blackout for this month, because I'm going home in 11 days... Is that weird?!
 
I'm super impressed by all the blackout cards! I'll do my best to at least finish a row this month. LOL
 
idk what happened, honestly they really inspired me and I could NOT quit! Then I filled the whole card and was like, "Well, *&^% what now?" lol
 
I went in and counted the blackout cards last night around 11:30pm EST. I estimated there would be around 10. At that time there were 23. Holy cow guys! Fantastic.
 
I definitely surprised myself getting them all done. I won't scrap a layout just for the sake of completing a challenge, so I was surprised that I was able to make layouts that fit with all the challenges but were ones that helped me complete layouts I would use in my albums. I was very pleased! I hope to keep it going for February since I'm getting layouts done of photos that have been sitting on my computer waiting to be scrapped for 10+ years.
