hahaha
aren't you all glad I'm back? :D:D:D

Do you sleep close to your spouse/significant other?
Darik told me I was "in him" last night and that is VERY atypical of us.
(in my defense, I had a sad dream and I obviously needed some consoling lol)

Our feet might touch but we don't cuddle. I'll often fall asleep with my head on his stomach and he will move me eventually. LOL!

My kid though....that's another story.................................

We do for a while but then one (or both of us) get too hot, or Charlie ends up with all the bed and we hang off the end at either side LOL.

We usually end up near the middle, near each other... but we start out opposite sides, and not touching, lol!

I usually get strangle cuddled where I can't move or escape. If you hadn't picked up on it this is not pleasant :p lol. When he gets too warm in his sleep I am released and have my space back lol

nope...no touching, no sharing blankets I hate it. I cocoon myself up in my blankie and we meet in the middle for extracurriculars :P We do cuddle and such but when I go to sleep it is time to leave me alone lol

My hubby is a hotbox, he's always hot, so of course here in MI during winter we are back to back and lean on each other because I NEEEED warmth....during the summer we don't touch at all...ROFL

I'm sure hubby would like too... he is the touchy feely type... but I'm the one on the edge of the bed, far away. I'm a pretty light sleeper and also I don't like cold breezes blowing on me and DH's cpap gives a cold breeze...

HA! I've missed you over here, Laura!!

Jeff is a cuddler, and if it were up to him, we'd sleep cuddled up all night long. I do NOT want to be touched while I sleep. I'm a stomach sleeper, and I want to be able to sprawl out.

So, we compromise. Most nights (not every night), I start cuddled up with him for about 15-20 minutes, but when I'm ready to sleep, I roll back over to my side.

Yep. I'm like Meghan, Meeeegan, and, Brittanee . . . "Don't touch me. Here, I'll make it easier by hugging the edge of the bed all night. And, don't worry, I'll kick you if you get too close. Thank you."

I don't like to be touching anyone when I'm sleeping. :) I am OK with cuddling for a bit until he falls asleep, and then sliding back over to my side of the bed.

I guess the bf and I are oddballs because we fall asleep wrapped up in each other and usually stay that way all night. I  it.

Haha! Me too.

no. No no no. I mean, we sleep close because forced to by the bed, but omg no, DONT TOUCH ME WHILE I SLEEP!

Forced to... LOL! That's funny.

We got a king sized bed last year and it's the best thing EVER. The only time I know he's in bed with me is when he's snoring. Which is a lot. That is so annoying.

I actually sleep most nights on the floor by DD's bed, so.. no. I start the night in our bed though and since I don't ever stay in the bed, we snuggle pretty close, haha

No I cuddle till sleep then hate being touched. My king size bed is awesome. My husband thinks I don't love him anymore though. But I just hate being touched in my sleep. And 12 years of having babies in with us too lol.

I usually roll to my tummy on the very edge of my side

^^^^ This. I sweat when I sleep with no one touching me. I sure as heck don't want anyone on me helping. Cole gets in the bed with us sometimes and he's just like me a hot sleeper. Yet he has to touch you. Drives me crazy!

Well.....

My husband works the midnight shift and has for the last 13-14 years now. That means that 5-6 nights a week I have the bed to myself at night while he works. Unless he's on vacation we don't share the bed more than twice a week and twice is rare, usually one night a week. So, nope, we don't sleep touching. LOL When we are sleeping at the same time we sleep touching though. It might be us laying shoulder to shoulder or our feet touching or something, but we definitely sleep with some kind of contact. I wouldn't call it cuddling through. Now... back before this midnight shift business, we slept cuddled up unless there was a kid between us. Now we've each had the bed to ourselves for so long that it feels strange getting too close, I can't get comfortable.

I usually sleep cuddled up with a cat though. Not by my choice. The cat is very persistent.

I miss our king sized bed soooo much. SO MUCH. But we downsized to a queen when we moved cross country because its really hard to fit a king size in most rental and military properties. When DH retires we get a king size again...and I can't wait.

I like to cuddle when I sleep, but DH is definitely "hands off while I sleep." He always hated when one of the kids couldn't sleep and came into bed with us, but I liked it (as long as it was only once in a while!) because they were all cuddly sleepers, too. DH needs a lot more sleep than I do and can't sleep if I'm on the laptop in bed, so I stay downstairs a few hours later than he does. That's when I get to scrap, so it all works out. ;)

I am like most. Snuggle before sleep but give me space when it is time to sleep. Jon will sometimes wander to my side but not often and more in the morning. But lately I have been more snuggly because he has been away a lot for work and I miss him.
