It's been awhile - I'm working on a little project and would like to know who lives on the East coast ? Who actually lives in Florida? Who lives somewhere they would consider "near" Florida?

Thanks Ladies for helping with my research!!!

We're in Virginia, near Washington, DC. I've lived in 4 different states during my life, but they've all been states on the East Coast that touch the Atlantic Ocean.

I'm in Phenix City, AL close to Columbus, GA.. It's like the middle line of Alabama and Georgia. I have a friend in Atlanta and when she comes here. She always ask me if we are in Alabama or Georgia.

I was from Florida, gulf coast, many moons ago. Horseshoe Beach. :).

Now stupid, cold Midwest. Lol

I use to live in georgia, near Cindy actually... columbus, GA. Does that count? Now i'm pretty much as far away from Florida as I can get while still staying in the US (if I don't count Alaska that is, haha)

oooh...Erica and Jennv - We're going to DC for Thanksgiving break. Staying in Alexandria. Do either of you do photography on the side? If so can you PM me please? Looking for someone to take some family photos while we're on vacation - plus maybe we could meet up.

Juli - Bummed to say I won't be there for Thanksgiving (most of us washingtonians exit en masse from the area)!!! But I'm a semi-pro photographer and head to DC once a week just to snap photos so if you need some advice on where and when to take the photos let me know (West side of the Tidal Basin/Jefferson Memorial) provides some awesome shots. Also going up to the Lincoln Memorial and heading around to the back (where it feels like you could just slide off) at around sunset - you can get a great view of the Wash Monument and the Capitol between the columns of the Memorial. It's a fun city.....we love living here.
