Hobbes is the name of the first gift the hubs ever gave me, a stuffed tiger that I still have. :)
 
I'm Sara. I used to have an online journal where my username was crazy.misfit (because I'm kind of crazy and I feel like a misfit) and somehow it morphed into misfitinmn (because I'm a misfit who lives in Minnesota). So it is unrelated in any way to my actual name.

Which, again, is Sara. With no h. ;)

I have a stuffed tiger named hobbes as well, haha! he's now my oldest son's though and Marcus can't sleep without him
 
I'm Sherly in real life.
nietis came from the combination of the first 4 letters of my surname and my initial 'S'. It was a username that I got for highschool and I use it every since...
I have been thinking about changing my username to just sherly, though...

La, is it too much to ask to change it for me? ;)
 
I'm Lorie, but I have been called Loriebug since birth; thanks Grandpa. My entire family and many of my friend just call me Bug. Yep, every girl wants that nickname. 66 is the year I was born, yes I am old! ;)
 
I'm Janelle. Most everyone in my family calls me Nellie or Nell, but my dad calls me NellahBean. I had just moved out of state and from all my family when I joined on here and I think I was missing them all! So NellahBean makes me think of my pops. And I kind of love it!

Not a whole lot of mystery in my username, LOL. Almost everyone calls me Rachel, but obviously my username is Rach. I've been using this username since way before SSD; IIRC there was an 8-character limit on the site I created it for. (Can't remember anymore what site that was...)
 
I decided to keep mine simple too. I have a hard enough time remembering usernames and passwords to various sites, so stick with my given name wherever possible.
 
Cindy, I'm not on Brook's team, but Jhari is (I think you meant her). She also wears headscarf. I understand the confusion lol ♥

ETA just realized that is the same as my user name, I thought it was roxanamdm as that is my user in most forums.
 
I am Sugirdha but everyone calls me Sugi. I came up with my username when I was probably 18 or 19. It kinda stuck:)
 
Well, mine isn't too creative either. I wanted something with my first name in it (Dawn) but didn't want to use my whole last name, so it's just part of our last name.
 
I use the same profile photo everywhere hoping it helps, as Amy is such a common name. I use AmyG because Amy is always taken on sites, my last name starts with G and it's a nickname my BFF uses for me. But my name is Amy :).
