I know many of you who I have on Facebook are constantly saying how you are all such introverts, but my question is -

How much of an introvert are you actually?

The quiz seems to equate sitting at home watching lots of TV (i.e. entire season of netflix) with introversion. I love being out and about doing things ... alone.

It said I was an extrovert, but it's wrong, I'm slightly introverted. I just couldn't mark many because this poll wasn't meant for my age group. LOL I don't go to parties, so I had nothing concrete to feel one way or another on those issues. And I don't watch tv really, so I couldn't mark those issues either.

I rarely go to parties but I substituted other social events for the "party" questions - work functions, school functions, social events related to sports, etc.
 
I had 66... I could have checked way more if I was still single and working... some just didn't apply anymore...

Now... if I put myself in the role as "Reba," I'm way more outgoing... I had to do this for my job (hello, corporate trainer - not a job for an introvert... haha)... and I do that today. Hubby always tells me to introduce myself as Reba, then I tend to be more outgoing... *shh* now you know my secret... and why I'm not curled into a ball when you meet me in real life... haha

I got 51 out of 83. Funny thing because I was just talking to my friend about how emotionally exhausted I was. We had parent-teacher conferences last week (I'm a teacher) and all those meetings just exhaust me. Now I realize it's probably mental exhaustion from having to be an extrovert for 11 hours straight two days in a row plus one regular 7.5 hour day. I usually am extroverted at work but the minute I walk through the doors, I slip back into myself. When I don't get that mental break, I get mentally exhausted.

And last night was Prom and my daughter (who is an extrovert) went with a huge group and I had to do pictures with all these other parents and I hated it so much. It helped that she told me I looked good and she was so proud to see me there.

Not surprised. I have interact with a lot of different people with my job so I just grin and bear it but my weekends are mine time. And I don't like to share it.
 
See, this is why I never do those quizzes. I'm actually annoyed by the silly quiz right now, LOL. Why does my bed need to be my favorite place in order to get introvert points? My house, yes. But why my bed? And why are there so many tv questions...proud introvert who almost never watches tv here!

... no surprise there. But that may have a lot to do with the panic disorder/social anxiety and agoraphobia I have lol. Who know what it would be if those didn't exist.

Having a son that is the complete opposite can really make you cringe :) He will talk to everyone. As your going about shopping he's randomly saying hey/how ya doin" to everyone. Then I have random people talking to me.. Urghh!
